The historic Hameenkyla Manor is located in a scenic milieu but only a short trip away from the airport and within excellent connections from Helsinki downdown. Travel time to airport is 15 minutes and from city centre 30 minutes.

We recently opened a totally renovated manor building which now functions as the main building. We have 50 new rooms and 2 suites, a Scandinavian style restaurant, cozy lobby bar and a souvenier shop. Our reception is open 24/7 and will assist with all questions or needs.

We can't praise the Hämeenkylä Manor enough for the most memorable and fun double birthday party that we had with our family members, 20 plus. The accommodation was very well planned and organized by Anniina and Noora from the Manor and the birthday dinner, buffet style, was very delicious and well presented, like the breakfast, too. We were first greeted by Antti and Urve & Petri pampered us in the dining room - many thanks! Sauna and indoor pool were nice additional activities to the group and was very appreciated! We will highly recommend!

Lately renovated, all is nice and dandy. We had apartment in side building with own terrace. It has nice 'rainforest' shower, nice! Beautiful view to open field and lake. Lot's of activities available. Has restaurants which we didn't try though. Close to many other eateries and big shopping centre. Public transport nearby. Peaceful and relaxing place with reasonable price. I warmly recommend.

Spacious room with modern yet classic interiour, a cosy atmosphere and very friendly staff. Combined with a good breakfast, Finnish style of course, this hotel offers a great experience to those who do not need a central city location. The only thing to disturb the peaceful atmosphere is the proximity to the airport, causing planes to cross over the hotel when descending. And I am a big fan of free parking.

We stayed here as a rest prior to flying back the next day. The hotel was a little out the way (roughly 35 euros by taxi each way) but the staff were pleasant. Its more like a campus of sorts. For dinner, we considered going elsewhere but due to the location and cost of getting to the nearby town, we decided to eat dinner at the hotel. There was only 1 option for vegetarians on their al a carte menu for which you have to enquire about. I read the reviews for the breakfast which swayed me in favour of choosing this hotel. However, we were disappointed by the lack of quality and choice in food. There seemed to be only 1 person, who stayed in the kitchen and then would come out to help people if needed. We had come down at least an hour before the breakfast was due to finish and most of the food was either finished or cold. Comfortable to stay but not worth the hype of what they advertise.

We stayed at the Hameenkyla the night before our flight and wanted to be close to the airport but still have a quiet time. The staff gave us a warm welcome and helped us with all the questions we had. We had to leave early so they gave us a cooling-box for our room with breakfast. It was great! The room was clean and looked great. It had a traditional, minimalistic style. The only negative point was that after showering the whole bathroom floor was wet because the enclosure doesn't properly close.

I stayed in the new part. There is a sauna, mini gym and swimming pool. Unfortunately because of the obvious lack of funds the swimming pool water was a bit too cold. Rooms are luminous and beds good so sleeping quality was really fine. WiFi works but TV channel selection is nothing to brag about. Breakfast is fantastic. One needs a car to stay in this hotel because it is really isolated. I think the stay would have been even nicer if it were summer because of the nice environment. This manor is definitely worth the money.

Very pleasant and nice facilities for small business event or workshop. We had a group of 50 or so. Arrangements and facilities all good, breakouts to smaller rooms easy to arrange etc. Rooms in main building also nice, modern, practical maybe bit additional deco might help though. Lots of parking space, easy to access location. Lunch and breakfast ok, not very good but ok. The only let down why I was considering actually 3 stars (instead of 4) was dinner. Somehow ambience could be improved; but main issue was that food was not particularly good and the wine neither. Bit bland actually. However others in the group enjoyed. Overall for business events and workshops very nice location bit outside of the city.

We stayed one night in the meadow wing with a small baby. The building represented modern architecture of the 70's, as opposed to other buildings. It was renovated a little while ago, so the room was really clean and up to date. There was a nice countryside view from the balcony. The bathroom was modern as well, but the sink was a bit too small for washing the baby's bottom. In general it was really peaceful in the room, but somehow the noise was quite loud if the door of the neighboring room was shut. There is a busy flight path above the hotel, but the planes don't fly at night.

The garden was lovely and the staff was really friendly. The restaurant in the main building was good. Breakfast was ok. I can recommend this hotel for people who want to stay as close to Helsinki (or Helsinki airport) as possible while still feeling being on the countryside. If you are flying to/from Helsinki, note that the reception of the hotel was closed from 23 to 07.
