Very warm reception. Nice large modern room. Comfortable bed and clean, modern bathroom. They had a great selection of hot and cold food on the breakfast buffet. I stayed here for 1 night before heading off to the airport early the following morning. Check-in was quick and easy and had two staff members on the front desk. I was informed if I wanted to dine in the hotel for dinner it was possible to book a table via my room. I was shown where the lifts were, ideally situated near the entrance too.
Lifts were large, quick, and quiet - it didn't feel like it was moving at all it was that smooth. My room was on the 6th floor. It was clean inside, bed comfortable, good lighting too. The desk chair looked like it had seen better days, however. The bathroom was great, large mirror, sink and a bath and shower. The hotel uses soap/shampoo and shower gel from Rituals. Besides some very nice soft large towels for the bathroom, you may need to ask for any other amenities. There is a hairdryer in there too.
I did eat at the hotel, albeit not in the restaurant as they had a function on. Staff were really accommodating though by still taking my order and allowing me to come down and collect it myself before taking it upstairs to my room (I avoided paying a room service charge doing this myself). Food was good and had no issues. Staff were friendly and looked like they enjoyed working there, which is not always the case for some hotels.
Check out was really simple, just pop your room card in a check-out box next to the lifts on the ground floor before you exit. Would stay here again.

We had booked an accessible room. I use a wheelchair, so it is important that the room is suitable for the disabled. The room was comfortable, but the toilet/bathroom was not accessible. The washroom had a sink at the height of a standing person, and there was also a shelf under the sink. It prevented rolling under the sink with a wheelchair, the shelf hits the legs, so you can't reach the sink or faucet. The edge of the sink is at chin height for someone sitting in a wheelchair, how does the hotel imagine that you can wash your hands in it at head height with your body bent 90 degrees? Hand washing soap was far from the sink on the wall, other detergents were at the height of a standing person.
Just as if it had been a normal room, a couple of handles had been added and it was thought that the room would thus become barrier-free. I would recommend the hotel to consult an accessibility specialist and change the accessible room to suit the disabled.
I will probably not visit this hotel again, because an accessible room requires acrobatic dimensions from a wheelchair user.

We had a meeting at the hotel and I must say the experience was pretty poor all and all. The setting is beautiful and I know Clarion Hotels always strive for excellence, so it was surprising to find that they did not meet up to expectations at all. To begin with the young man at the desk was grumpy at best, more interested in the computer, than actually serving the quests. We wanted to know when we could get our rooms after we had made the check-in the previous day and "somewhere in the afternoon, after 3pm" was all we got. When we finally got our room it turned out that the previous quests trashes were in the bin still. We had a nice dinner with the company, but when we tried to have some coffee later at night, we were met with the same grumpy manners again. Also speaking finnish with the waiters did not work. The breakfast sunday morning was a true disaster. We were there around 8 am only to find that breakfast items were already missing, plates were empty for the longest time and the morning staff were avoiding people and pretty hostile if you tried to ask for something. It was not like only one plate missing, but evrything pretty much, so you had to wait for a loooong time if you liked to have something on your plate. It was pity I did not have an opportunity to take pictures. The quality of food was pretty poor as well. We had looked forward to a leisurely, fun breakfast together with our friends, but THAT was not to be had. So - all and all, pretty dissappointing experience and propably never interested in going back even if the location is perfect.

The hotel is very easy to access from transport and the airport. Breakfast was spectacular, with the option during the week to have fresh omelets prepared. Very good service although not always impeccable (forgot some towels, cleaning not always well done, but maybe it is normal in Finland). If you happen to, eat at its restaurant and you will definitely not be disappointed, open kitchen, great service and great food. Totally soundproof, you can not hear a..... plane flying!

The hotel is located a two minute drive from the Helsinki Vantaa airport. After a long trans-Atlantic flight, we dumped our bags and headed for the dining room. The server was a delightful Spaniard who spoke at least four languages, including Finnish. We ordered the smoked salmon salad entre, and found the presentation, freshness, and flavor excellent. Likewise the chocolate fondant and raspberry sorbet were delicious. The kitchen and chef turn out very good food.
The room was very clean and quiet, the bathroom fixtures high quality Hans Grohe, and the view a shiny 1940s DC3 airplane outside the Air Museum next door.
Breakfast was an excellent full buffet including lingon and current berries, smoked salmon, fresh whole grain bread, excellent coffee, and much more. Guests were encouraged to use a disposable glove when serving themselves, and masks except when eating at their table.
My favorite thing about the hotel is the extensive library of design and architecture books, both coffee table and serious stuff, all available to read in comfortable Nordic design chairs and sofas.
We will come back to this hotel after a future long flight to Finland.

The hotel and service truly positive surprise us! We had a standard room and already it was luxurious. The room had a beautiful color scheme instead of dull white. The huge 200cm wide bed was suitably sturdy. The bathroom had absolutely lovely Rituals series products ❤️ The breakfast that was included in the room rate was comprehensive and very tasty. We stayed in a superior class room, and the hotel promised us in-room breakfast when booking the room. They asked what we would like, and we agreed on a menu and a time when it was supposed to be delivered. When it was 15 minutes late, we called room service and found out there was no breakfast, and we were told they had not served it in rooms during the whole Covid pandemic that has been going on for nearly two years now. The hotel breakfast was of course closed at this point, so we got nothing but disappointment and rumbling hunger for the journey home.
I can't believe this is possible that the sales service sold and also charged for in-room breakfast while it has not been an option for over 1,5 years. We did contact the hotel afterwards and got no real compensation for this absolute disappointment, they just returned the price of the breakfast. Can't recommend this hotel for anyone, even though the room itself was okay. There are so many options in this area that I definitely won't be staying in Clarion Aviapolis anymore.

This is a new hotel near the Helsinki-Vantaa airport. The train station is located under the hotel and the actual train ride takes only 2 minutes. It takes more time to walk from the lobby to the underground.
Standard rooms are small but suitable for one night visit before or after the flight. Decoration is nice and classic.
The shower in our room was annoying: when you arrive late in the night, you do not want to fight with the stuckked shower buttons. ”Massage shower” hit me to the face with the strong water pressure, hah!
I also managed to switch off all the electricity from the room by pushing the Master switch: none of the mobile phones did not load during the night because of that.
This hotel is much cheaper than others located in the airport. It is the reason to use it again.
Early breakfast was available in 4.30 am. It included everything else but the warm dishes.

Thank you for your message. We do not have our own shuttle bus. We recommed to use the new ring rail line, our hotel is located on the top of the Aviapolis station and it is the next stop from the airport. Also local busses go to the airport and walking takes about 15-20 minutes.
