Good price/quality ratio! The rooms are clean and spacious. There was a fan in the room, the blinds on the windows would have needed blackout curtains. Spa clean, e.g. children's slide, bigger 80 m slide, outdoor pool. The room price includes bathrobes + slippers, free parking. The breakfast was good and varied, there was plenty of seating. In the lobby there is also a children's play area, slot games, and the possibility of bowling. A sandy beach is also nearby.

+ the spa is cozy, the water is cold. Luckily there were 2 hot water pools!
- the room is worn out, bad beds and pillows. In the bathroom, the water pressure was not enough to properly wash hands, not to mention the shower.
- many foods from the buffet tasteless, many foods also run out every time. There were also good dishes!
- the spa nursery experience is ridiculous, there is no atmosphere in the whole hustle and bustle, as you would normally think a spa has a relaxing atmosphere where you would feel welcome.

Already when you're looking at prices for this stay, you notice how affordable it is versus more modern spa's. Well, you cant have both! We stayed here one week-end in September 2021 and it couldn't have been better! We loved the swimming area, the many distractions that the hotel offered and the food was good value for money, too. We stayed in a room facing the so called promenade (ie. the corridor continuing from the reception onward) and didn't hear any disturbing noises etc. Sure the surfaces and furniture are dated, but did you think this is a boutique or design hotel ?
The promenade offered a beauty parlor, a small shop, a cafe, LOTs of games for kids, bowling hall etc., not to mention the outdoors and whatever Imatra and nearby Lappeenranta has to offer.
This is a great stay if you're happy with swimming, being close to nature and don't have high expectations of the materialistic experience.

We took the Christmas package ( Holiday apartment ) and had wonderful time.
The atmosphere was really festive - well decorated, excellent service. The staff was very polite and helpful.
Weather was perfect - good snow cover, not windy - lovely to walk out or watch through window beside the fire. The apartment was clean, well heated, close to the main building.
Pools and saunas were not crowded, so we enjoyed peaceful stay.
Food at restaurant was very tasty and abundant. Mr. Asso took care we to have the good wines from their selection.
The complex provided entertainment and Christmas program for children and adults.
It was an enjoyable stay at the Imatra Spa and we highly recommend it to be visited
at any season.

The best thing here is the location and the view but anything else is quite outdated. Our room was dirty, and when we complained about it they said that there will be some renovations coming up. Still outdated is not the same thing as dirty. The room smelled like a basement and was filled with hair and sand. The chairs were the worst, you could see that they used to be very different color and they were just covered in something nasty 🫣
The breakfast was ok but the dinner I would definitely skip. The pools at the spa were freezing cold and some of them were empty.

A really old hotel that is in dire need of renovation. The room was really worn and the stains everywhere (on the walls, furniture, etc.) gave a really untidy impression. Bad weather. Two stars because the cup was ok. One star for the room.

The first room had dust under the beds, dirt spots on the matresses, a whole in the sheet, dirty toilet seat and window blinds were not able to rise up. Also there was a hot radiator without any on/off swich and in the summer time it just made the room hotter. Vegan people doesn't have anything to eat at breakfast except lettuce and orange juice. After complaining we got Junior suite witch also has some broken stuff. And to the top of all this hotel is not COVID safe at all.

Wr stayed a Night in July, and the first thing we met Was a reception with long Line to check in. There Was no social distance, and it Was packed with people. It took close to 50 min to check in!!
I Was looking forward to a swim in the waterpark, but there Was only acces in speedos for men, not shorts! I only use shorts, so no swim for me!
The hallways reminded of a Eastblock hospital in 1960, Was warm down, dark and cleaningcards standing there all Night.
Rooms were basic, and the windows could not open!
The bathroom ventilator Was noisy and could not be turned of.
We wanted to buy food in the restaurant, but the a la’ carte had 1,5 hours waitingtime. The buffet looked like hostel food, so we ended up going to town for dinner.
When we came back people were standing on the parkinglot drinking beers and having parties. Not what you want to leave your car to.
The breakfeast Was acceptable, but nothing special.
The overall impression was that this hotel was outdated and targeting people going there to get wasted, while the kids play around in the waterpark. It was NOT worth the money in any way!!

We had room near game area. Noise was awful. 50 desibel means that idea of relaxing holiday with daydreams were not possible.
The area is beautiful and there are good exercise possibilites. Breakfast was food. We ate also dinner from bufee. It was ok.

Lots of blackflies around (Finnish Mäkäräinen), bring your own repellent because big stores like Prisma are out of stock of it here!

Для отеля 5 звезд( как они себя позиционируют) это недопустимо. Ежедневная влажная уборка обязательна. Смена полотенец происходит, если скинуть их на пол или край ванны. Решить вопрос нужно на ресепшн.
Hello! Saunas in the locker rooms are separate, and Hamam is common for men and women. and there and there entrance without clothes .
В бассейне все плавают в купальниках, что логично. В сауне есть табличка о том, что вход в купальниках запрещён, но я была в нем. Никто косо из персонала не посмотрел)
Платить не нужно, все включено в стоимость номера и спа и бассейны и гидромассаж. Платят только за баню по чёрному если есть такое желание, но как правило хватает того что есть!
