Nice Hotel
Good location, easy to find, enough parking places. Breakfast was good. Free WiFi for customers. Interior design mid -80's but in a good way. Friendly staff. Clean rooms.

Functional, price OK, best accessible by car - DECT spoils the ECO label
This hotel is a mixture of a hotel and a motel. Not in the centre of town Imatra, more like close to the highway. Not too close, though. Actually the surroundings are quite peaceful, close to a forest with nice hiking and skiing routes. Hotel rooms are already a bit torn (old), but quite clean at least. The only annoying part was that there are DECT base stations at every corridor in this hotel. Luckily, those base stations were low radiation DECTs. Still, why can not the hotel get DECT-base stations that are switched off when not in use? http://www.bfs.de/de/elektro/Strahlungsarme_Dect_Schnurlostelefone.html http://www.powerwatch.org.uk/rf/dect.asp Or why not to use the network cable for IP-calls and data?!?! This hotel is far enough from mobile phone base stations and it would have all the possibilities for an ECO hotel label.…
