We spent our first night in France in Le cottage, as a bit further on from Calais. First impressions; room small, but had an old-fashioned charm. We were wary - but after staying in a variety of B&B's - Kyriad, F1 (shudder) two private B&B's - one much dearer but luxurious, on the edge of the Dordogne, and one modest... More

Hotel is easy to reach if you are equipped with a GPS due to many one way streets. People working here are so kind you could think coming on a first time you are an old customer! Breakfast is very good with a large variety of choice. Rooms are a little bit tiny but comfortable. Parking is free and large.

Recently stayed her for two nights.upon check in we were greeted by a smiley happy lady who spoke good English. The room was quite basic with tiny pillows, hard bed and zero wifi (even though we were told different). We decided to eat in the hotel restaurant that night only to be met with the most unhelpful man ever. There are... More

What luck to find this place. Great price for bed, breakfast and skiing. Quiet place with a family atmosphere. Very clean rooms. This hotel is very simple, the people looking after it friendly and very helpful. I love sking and was looking for an inexpensive place to stay. I was surprised to find this place with great deals for skiers.

The rooms are basic as is the very hotel by its nature. It has never professed to be 5 star but it does an excellent job of offering clean tidy rooms with all facilities at a very resonable price. The restaurant served excellent food - simple, well presnted and very well cooked. Well done to the chef de cuisine who... More

A group of us stopped for a night whilst on a cycle tour. The hotel was basic, the room was small and so was the bathroom but both were clean and tidy and everything worked. The menu was small and basic but the food was good, there wasn't a separate bar so you had to enjoy a drink at a... More

An overnight stay here was OK, comfortable, clean and friendly, though all very basic and a limited menu for dinner. The room was small and the bathroom very small, but everything worked and we had a good nights sleep before resuming our journey.

We had booked at another Hôtel, but our booking was not honoured and we were sent to the Cottage. Room was small and basic, with small double, small bathroom with shower with very high sides you have to climb into, no heat in bathroom which was freezing. Curtains were too small to prevent light from security light lighting up the... More

We have stayed at this hotel several times and the hotel is Ok for a night on the way to somewhere else. The rooms are clean but small. We had a superior room, but I don't think that standard exist as I've not ever been offered one. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant. This had gone down hill from the... More

The room was small and the shower was tiny, on the top floor. The hotel was not busy, so why I was put up there is beyond Me. All this I could have accepted for one night, But I awoke with 4 angry bite marks acquired in that bed. I Wouldn't go back if it was Free!
