Nice renovated manor between railway and road. Parking behind a gate. Room on top floor was bit small and bathroom was in tower. Showering in bathtub is rather a challenge because you need a 3rd hand to hold it. Good large bed, nice coffee and tea facilities. Breakfast is really good! Please print ‘do not disturb’ for the door and make a map with instructions and times for the heating in the bathroom and till when is breakfast. Yelling and jumping kids in the pool are not what we had expected here....... Pool has no sunchairs, only a few small bistro chairs and table. Lounge chairs are in a seperate area away from the pool. Deauville and Honfleur are beautyful classic towns. Trouville is neonlights and a cheap place.

I must admit I was slightly concerned as we drove up to the property, given it is off a major road and the traffic was gridlocked going into Deauville. However as soon as we entered the grounds, we saw a stunning old Manor House and several beautiful Norman buildings. We were met by very helpful receptionists who genuinely showed an interest in us. We stayed in one of the apartments opposite the main building - it was very clean and perfect size did a family of four. We thoroughly enjoyed the grounds, playing cricket (despite some snooty other guests) and relaxing in the hammock. The pool was also excellent and looked thoroughly well maintained. Be aware that there is no restaurant here. The breakfast though is excellent and it was a delight to eat out on the lawn. You can also order charcuterie and cheese boards in the evening, although the drinks were a little expensive. Deauville is only a 10 minute drive so perfect for evening meals.

Initial thoughts on arrival were disappointing but we had just stayed in two exceptionally brilliant 5 star hotels further south in France and Switzerland for not very much more money, so we put it down to unfair comparison. Four nights on and that’s not the case at all, it is just plain disappointing, it feels like a cross between a hotel and a self catering apartment but far far too expensive. Our room was in a building in the grounds of the Manoir as are many. If it was a hotel at these prices, I would expect far better service and services. There is no restaurant and hence no room service (as advertised), the room was cleaned daily but the bath shampoos or mineral water not replenished. Maybe nit picking but at the price I paid I am entitled to!! If it was a self catering apartment, it would be fabulous BUT it isn’t because there are no self catering facilities, no cutlery, no sink, no cooker........ It’s clean, it’s tidy and in general quite good but not at these prices....... Anyone providing a service should always try to over deliver on customers expectations........... this was just the opposite..... I feel cheated that my final few days of what has been a fabulous luxury holiday have been wasted here, when I could have been in what I thought I had booked, especially considering the price, a good luxury hotel (it’s definitely not that). Would I stay again, yes, but now I know that it isn’t a luxury hotel the price would have to reflect that, at current prices I could stay at a number of other local luxury hotels providing all the services one would expect.

It was an amazing stay at this mansion. We had the chance to stay at the historical room with the huge fireplace in front of our bed, in total immersion with the mood of the place. The staff is really friendly and professional, a copious and tasty breakfast. The place is easy to find, easy to parking and situated only a few minutes from Deauville & Trouville. We also appreciated a lot the sauna. I definitely recommend this hotel which is very good for stay for two as well as with family. Thank you so much for your warm welcome!

We stayed just one night. We enjoyed the Normandees charm having time there. It is B&B hotel. For dinner there is a variety of offers in the other places of the area.Lovely green garden, hamam bath and open pool.I can imagine how pleasant it is in the summer time. Rooms are not too spacy but cosy, brand new, equipped by tea-coffee station, mini bar, safe, pool towels,Nuxe bath amenities. Good mattress and satin linen. We have small problem but it was solved by personnel in a professional manner. Traveling in the north east France I recommend to have in mind above place.
