Brian & Marion were fantastic , very warm and welcoming , it felt like we were part of the family. Their place was absolutely breath-taking , a tropical paradise. We even went on a small tour of their property , through the rainforest. Which was marked out and ended up at a lovely stream and was quite picturesque. Would definitely...

My husband and I love to go off the beaten track to get a more genuine feel of a place and Cow Bay Homestay B & B definitely delivered. When you go down the driveway and cross the bridge you feel like you are about to enter another world- a magical rainforest hideaway. Although we arrived early, Marion, the very...

When planning our first trip to Australia, I came across Cow Bay Homestay on another BnB site. I asked my husband how he felt about staying in the rainforest where all buildings are run by solar, battery, and/or generator because there is no main electrical power. He was up for the adventure. My husband and I spent three nights at...

I stayed at Marion's b&b for two nights. It was perfect for me. I was looking for a relaxing place to stay, away from the main tourist areas. This is a secluded spot in the middle of the rainforest. I loved listening to the noises of the rainforest going to sleep and waking in the morning. A beautiful garden attracting...

My friend and I were on a road trip to escape the tourist frenzy of Cairns and needing a place to stay. Serendipitously, we met a man in the forest, while marveling at a Cassowary, who recommended Cow Bay home stay. What a delightful surprise to find there was a room available. It is a gorgeous home nestled in the...

The two of us enjoyed 6 nights in this delightful home within a rainforest. The accommodation is spacious and designed to be open to the lush garden areas or closed up for a cozy night.
