My husband and I have had the pleasure of staying both in the main B&B lodge and on a recent visit, we had the opportunity to stay in the new Hibiscus Cottage. The B&B is a beautiful well designed lodge with comfortable accommodations and the tropical breakfast which is included is a lovely treat. Lots of space to relax with...

Driving up on Silkwood Road, we found The Epiphyte B&B sign board with big letters "Welcome Home!!" After a long drive in an unfamiliar warm weather (holiday from freezing Victoria), over the dangerous crocodile water and winding mountain roads, you think, "oh well, another accommodation trying hard to impress guests..." I sadly admit myself as a difficult person to be...

A huge thank you to Matt and Lucia, my sister and i had a wonderfully relaxing, regenerating stay in your gorgeous Hibiscus cottage. Everything and more, than was expected, was provided. We love the daintree and our experience on our 'sister roadtrip' was amazing. Highly recommended to all who go to visit this wonderous area of the world. Thanks again. Shiree...

I have spent 5 weeks woofing at the Epiphyte after travelling for two and a half months on the East Coast and I can definitely say that this place was the highlight of my trip. I arrived without any expectations, just hoping to save some money for a month and ended up literally falling in love with the whole atmosphere...

Loved my time at Epiphyte, it was the perfect place to switch off and relax in a beautiful rainforest setting. Our cabin had everything we needed including a very comfy bed, views from every side including the ability to shower with a rainforest view! It was great to start everyday with a delicious tropical fruit platter, some grown right there...

Eco-friendly (fully solar powered!), great breakfast with local fruits and jams, spacious rooms. Any lack of modern facilities (not lacking, really) is totally made up for. A little noisy because you're very close to nature :) Great hosts (thanks Matt and Gaia!), loved the stay!

Set at the end of the road that has only three homes, are the quiet tranquil grounds of the Epiphyte B & B. Set on approximately 8 acres, this environmentally friendly property backs on to the National Park. There is no phone coverage (just down the road if required) and no wi fi which is perfect for a relaxing, quiet...

Wow! What an amazing week we've had at Epiphyte B&B.. Stunning views, luscious tropical fruit breakfast, bird watching & lots of hammock time, chilling out. Totally loved it! Matt is a wealth of knowledge of all the local hot spots & creates a lovely community vibe around both the breakfast & evening table. It truly is a magical place to...

We had a wonderful stay here and Matt who owns and runs the place is very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It's a clean environment with a very friendly feel. Being completely off the grid, running on Solar and Rain Water was a great feeling, and quiet inspiring. We've made a few new friends from different parts of the...

Beautiful Daintree rainforest accommodation near Cape Tribulation just 5 mins from lovely Cow Bay beach and overlooking the World Heritage Daintree national park. The main accommodation house is Queenslander style and has four en-suite rooms (single, standard double and large double/family size) each with private balconies, a large open-plan living area and extensive verandahs...the perfect place to relax and have a 'real' holiday!. For couples or small groups looking for even more privacy or independent accommodation, the Golden Orchid Retreat is a gorgeous self-contained cabin separate from the main accommodation house with views across the orchard to Noah's Range. A home away from home, The Epiphyte is airy, casual, friendly and breakfast featuring seasonal fruit is included in the room tariff. Help yourself to tea, coffee or a cool drink anytime.
