My wife and I have been staying for 2 nights in Matt's Epiphyte B&B. It was one of the highlights of our 2 month travel through Australia. The place is really amazing. It has a fantastic open living room / living space with kitchen, with the most beautiful views on Thornton Peak and the surrounding Daintree Rainforest. Supercosy with plenty...

When looking for a place to stay around the Daintree, I came accross the Epiphyte B&B and thought "this is the place for me". When getting there, I was wondering if it would live up to the reviews and pictures from Trip Advisor, and let me tell you... the pictures do no justice to how amazingly beautiful this place is....

The cabin was spacious with a large balcony, high-ceilinged bedroom, and impressive bathroom for a remote, off-the-grid location. Matt was a fantastic host, happy to share his knowledge of the area and always making us feel welcome. Also, his exotic fruit breakfasts were unique and delicious! The grounds of the property are beautiful and we felt very close to nature.

a return visit to what can only be described as a piece of heaven. Matt and his staff provide a warm welcome and informative incite into the Daintree region. They can provide local info on what to see and even book for you if necessary. The breakfast is outstanding with local fruits and toast that you can spread with a...

Beautiful location. Matt a very welcoming, thoughtful and kind host. Great rooms and facilities. Breakfast features large tasting plates of local tropical fruits. Not to forget Marg's locally made tropical fruit jams! Many relaxing spaces to use and the most incredible views. A hidden gem!

We made a very lucky choice when we booked the Epiphyte. Our 2 night stay in September was delightful. We should have booked 3 or 4 nights. Matt, the owner, and Lucia made us very welcome and told us all about what we could do in the Daintree Rainforest. We settled for leisurely days visiting different beaches and walking the...

My husband and I have had the pleasure of staying both in the main B&B lodge and on a recent visit, we had the opportunity to stay in the new Hibiscus Cottage. The B&B is a beautiful well designed lodge with comfortable accommodations and the tropical breakfast which is included is a lovely treat. Lots of space to relax with...

Driving up on Silkwood Road, we found The Epiphyte B&B sign board with big letters "Welcome Home!!" After a long drive in an unfamiliar warm weather (holiday from freezing Victoria), over the dangerous crocodile water and winding mountain roads, you think, "oh well, another accommodation trying hard to impress guests..." I sadly admit myself as a difficult person to be...
