This is an excellent hotel, but annoying in a way as it could very easily be near perfect and deserving of five stars.

The service is good, no problems there. The room was nice and clean, but very dark even with all the lights on, but no big deal there.

The included buffet breakfast and dinner were just "good". There was nothing wrong with them, but felt like what you'd expect at a pub rather than a high end hotel.

Then finally the spa/wellness facilities. They were outstanding, and alone would have gotten this place a five star rating... But they close at 8pm!!! I couldn't believe that. At a hotel intended for adults (no kids under 14 allowed), where literally every person I saw were couples there together, closing at 8pm is inexcusable. It means you can't enjoy going out for a full day and then relax after. The poolside bar even closes at 7pm!

So, it is a good hotel, with an outstanding wellness center, but they make enough mistakes to lower it from 5 to 4 stars.

This hotel is really gorgeous. Its atmosphere, helpful, polite and very nice staff, garden, and the food all make it unique and truly relaxing.

The wellness/spa area include different types saunas (e.g. Mountain meadow with herbs), relax room, indoor and outdoor pools,
steam cabins, sauna and hammam
ceremonies. And a bar! :-)

The lobby features an other bar and a game room as well - and everything make you feel as if you were in the 1001 nights.

2 years ago we stayed in a standard room, it was quite small, but had a balcony. Now we had premium one - it was very spacious, also with a balcony and a large bed. And there comes my only complaint: the mattress. It was a spring one. Every time my husband turned (he is almost 200 cms tall),
I was kind of bouncing on the other side of the bed. Perhaps it's not that big thing, if you are not that sensitive.

This hotel is a must to visit. :-)

What I loved most about the hotel were the lounges to relax after wellness - super cozy double bed lounges around the pool - NICE !!
I liked the wellness options and the occasional chai being served.
Rooms are really nice. Food is okay, the evening options are very nice and the wine is good ;-)

We stayed for 3 nights to celebrate my fiancé's birthday and recharge after a long hard year. It was disappointing.
Unfortunately some of the employees who speak with guests are clearly annoyed to work there and making the stay uncomfortable and unpleasant experience The food is average not prepared for food allergies we couldn't eat diary and meat and gluten free totally. However it costs extra when booking but unnecessary because they won't prepare food for your sensitivity
They were lactose free yoghurt but if you are sensitive to casein which is in diary products the lactose free version also contains it. So if you can't eat diary/soy/gluten you will be starving for a hefty price.
Wellness is small and crowded can't enjoy the sauna programs always full and if you don't book it 8am you might be missing all programs which you thought will worth the expensive price. Don't recommend the hotel because of poor service in general
Also the rooms are very worn down

Dear Our guest! Thank you for your evaluation, as the feedback of our guests is extremely important to the management of our hotel, because we are constantly trying to improve our services in accordance with the needs of our guests. We sincerely apologize that you felt our staff was not properly motivated. We would like to inform you that our hotel has a particularly high number of colleagues who are highly qualified in their field and have been strengthening our hotel's team for years. We would like to draw your attention to the fact that we do not charge any fees to our guests due to food sensitivities, and we inform all our guests at the time of booking about what dishes suitable for food sensitivities we offer during the meals. If they wish to eat in accordance with food sensitivities beyond this, we ask our guests to let us know at the time of booking, so that our kitchen can prepare accordingly during their rest. Thank you for your comment about your room, which we will try to remedy. We expanded our sauna sessions last year, so our guests can take part in special sauna infusions, which are very popular, so you need to register in advance. We hope that you will also experience our continuous development during your next visit in the near future. We look forward to welcoming you back to our hotel! Best regards, Brigitta Mező General manager

Price range should be much lower. The quality of the services is way too low compared to the price. Wellness area acceptable for what it is. Food was really good, but the staff wasn't properly educated on how to behave in an exclusive Hotel. I can see that during Covid the quality staff has been removed, or only quit by themself and they have been replaced with students or low experienced people. I don't think anyone should choose this Hotel over the competition at this price.

We spent 3 nights in the hotel.

Room: The room (junior suite) was spacious and quite, with Arabian interior style. A bedroom and a living room with a door was suitable for 2 adults and 2 kids. The toilet was separate from the bathroom, which is very good. Negative things: noisy air conditioning and one TV switch for 2 TVs (the hotel could not manage to provide an additional TV switch during our stay).

Hotel: Good selection of foods and drinks. Kind service (room and restaurant). Very good wellness facilities (during winter time it could be difficult to find empty sitting sőace). In-house programs. Flexible and fast reception. Large parking area. Car is a must.

The drinks and foods are extremely overpriced in the hotel. (During holiday seasons the room prices are also increased extremely.) Also, during the New Year Eve's dinner not even a bottle of water or a glass of campaign were provided free of charge! What a management mistake!

We had a very good overall impression about the hotel. It is highly unfortunate that the main focus is on earning extreme profit on top of high profit. This approach could be changed easily. That is why we are giving only 4 stars.

Together with my wife we had a wonderful 3 night stay in Meses Shiraz Hotel. The hotel is located in a very nice small town, just next to Eger. The staff was very friendly with a big plus for Abdul who was really a great guy. Rooms are clean and nice, the spa area looks very nice even it is not very large. I would recommend the hotel especially for couples, has a very nice atmosphere. Food and service in restaurant is great.

Great hotel. Marocco style the whole way. Love it. Very good wellness section. Stayed for 3 nights.

I would give it 4-5 stars but will withdraw 2 stars.

For the price of this hotel the breakfast and dinner is what we would call only almost average. The quality of the food is poor. The nice waitors are good but cannot make bad food good.

Second. Hot summer day and night. The aircondition in the suite did not work properly. We could not get the rooms colder than 26 degrees. So we had to sleep with open windows and thereby get a lot of outside noise.

I thought the hotel was overpriced and over rated, The Hotel is in a village with nothing much going on around, we had a standard room and it was just that, standard!. Rooms were comfortable and clean, coffee maker, fridge, wifi. no English TV channels not that we cared . The restaurant was really good, we were very impressed with the food and the wine list. The Spa was nicely decorated but disappointing, I have been to many Spa hotels/ thermal baths in this part of the world so had slightly higher expectation, perhaps I am a bit biased! As this area of Hungary has several natural thermal baths and hotels we presumed this hotel was built in this location for thermal water, the pools are not mineral/thermal just heated and the chlorine smell was quite strong. It is also very dark in the main area, there are Several sauna's and steam rooms.

We were here at the first weekend in February. Minus outside and the heating didn’t work. The maintenance came only the next day. He spent more than 3h in our room fixing the heating. We couldn’t change clothes to go to the wellness, we couldn’t rest in our room and they had no willing to give us an other room. In fact a manager lady was outrageously rude to us. It was really cold in our room but the AC screen showed 26celsius, and the lady told us it is 26 degree here you just can’t feel right now. I was like wtf?
She couldn’t even say sorry that we cant use our room or can do nothing for more than 3 h, while they were fixing the heating. Whats more.. she was mad at us that we couldn’t tidy up our room... she was crazy.
So it was terrible.
Lots of money for low value. Rude manager, simple rooms, broken toilet, there wasn’t enough resting bed in the spa, no gym.
Annoying that we paid that much for this service.
