I enjoyed my time there. The food was ok and the people don't speak any english (not a problem for me). The greatest appeal was the ultimate tranquility. It was so quiet and right on the beach. RIGHT ON THE SAND. Although the water is shallow, a little dangerous and quite sandy. (the water of Granada is better) but I...

This was my second time to stay there - which says something. Sadly, a fire burned six units while we were there, and while some possessions were lost, no guests were injured. (The hotel made every attempt to reunite their guests with possessions that had been left behind in the evacuation - and to a large extent, succeeded.) I hope...

As previously said, this is well below American standards of an all-inclusive resort. The facility is aging, but the pools are well maintained and the property is very safe. Upstairs villa style rooms have the best views, with several hammocks on each porch to help laze away the afternoon while watching the waves. Rooms are large and comfortable, and AC...

By American standards this is not a luxury property. However, it is charming with it's duplex cottages, hammocks, and swings. It is completely fenced in and has security. We had a few ants in our shower, but they did not have any interest in us. We were there right before the rainy season. It was dry and we only saw...

After a long trip to Nicaragua we hoped to find a lovely beach resort with great food, good service and time to relax. Sorry to tell but we were really disappointed. First of all it's called conference center which could lead to the assumption that they're able to understand English - not a word, which was quite hard to communicate....

The resort is a bit of a drive from Managua, but the location right on the beach is terrific. You can walk the unspoiled beach for miles and miles. It's a beautiful sandy beach not marred by high rise hotels or by crowds of people. The resort has some nice features, like a really nice pool, but the resort needs...

My wife and I were considering staying the day before but did not go due to a last minute delay, so we ended up going the following day just to eat. We were lucky not to have stayed in this place. Food was not good at all, extremely expensive and the lack of grounds maintenance was obvious everywhere you looked....

For your own good stay somewhere else. We initially stayed at a different place and stumpled upon this place and thought it would be perfect for our small kids, because of the pools, playground etc. We saw a room and got a price of 150 all inclusive. The next day we checked out of our other hotel and came here....

This hotel hosted our Phoenix, Arizona-based Habitat for Humanity team. I have to admit that when headed to Nicaragua for a Habitat build my expectations were relatively low, but these accommodations far exceeded what I was expecting. It isn't your typical Hilton or Marriott property in the US, but we are in small-town Nicaragua here. Expectations should be adjusted. Through...

The base hotel for Habitat for Humanity for a house build in a local community. The hotel rooms were adequate and had comfortable beds, although after working 8 hours on a concrete house, almost anything would be comfortable. Room lacked a secure safe, although there was a locked wooden box - basically to keep the honest people honest is my...
