A great find. Beautiful clean rooms, amazing food, excellent hospitality. Our hosts Pippa and Tim couldn't have been more helpful during our stay. We will definitely be returning again soon. Thomas Ioannou

Enjoyed two lovely nights at this wonderful old converted Manse. Pippa gave me the option of two of the largest rooms I've ever seen in a BnB, both beautifully decorated and with all sorts of facilities. The bed was deliciously comfortable the towels and bathrobes thick and luxurious. Their guest drawing room is under renovation right now so we gathered...

Pippa and Tim are the most Wonderful, Helpful and Generous Hosts! This stay was special for me, since my ancestors walked and lived in this area +- 400 years ago. Their beautiful home situated on green, lush landscaping, lets you feel apart of the land, its history while enjoying the comfort the Culham's B&B provides. We highly recommend this charming...

Imagine... a hot water bottle in your bed, beautifully soft bed linen, fresh flowers, homemade jams, freshly baked bread and cheese scones. A friendly well behaved Labrador with hosts Tim and Pippa instantly make you feel instantly welcome. Good quality magazines and interesting reading material galore, candles dotted along the piano and mantelpiece, wood burner with copious amount of wood....

No problems finding the house, and a lovely warm welcome on arrival from Tim and Pippa, followed by a cup of tea and choice of homemade cakes. The house gives a feeling of space and comfort. We had a large en-suite room, very comfortable beds and fresh flowers. We chose to have the evening meal, with Tim and Pippa. Pippa...

What an absolute gem of a place - Pippa and Tim were very welcoming and made the whole family feel relaxed and at home. The rooms are superb, spotlessly clean and spacious with Pippa's fresh flowers everywhere. The breakfasts were really marvellous, with heaps of fresh fruits (much of it home grown), home made bread and jams, and of course...

Stayed here with my kinsman Gos, after a long drive up from Buckinghamshire. Gos, being my senior, got a room with an luxurious ensuite bathroom and I had an extremely comfortable twin room with bathroom opposite. We freshened up for supper, which had been laid up for the two of us in the drawing room but was relaid to join...

Stayed for two nights and Pippa and Tim made us all feel very welcome and that nothing was too much trouble. Food was fantastic as were the rooms. The children also loved the space to relax and play in the garden. We stayed here on our wedding night and we were treated to flowers and champagne - not at all...

It is by no means always that on arrival at a new-find B&B one meets instant friendship. But so it was at Mayfield B&B in the modest little town of Greenlaw in the Scottish Borders, where we were greeted as long lost friends by Tim and Pippa. Within minutes the dog (yes they're canine-friendly) was being exercised, refreshment was on...
