We stayed overnight on our way to Provence and were very pleasantly surprised to find this little treasure of a B&B. Everything that previous guests have said is 100% accurate. It is a beautiful property restored with great taste by the owners. The welcome is warm and heartfelt, the room was very well furnished and the communal areas were an...

We stayed here for one night on our way to the South of France. Love it! Anton is very welcoming. As a guest you can use all the rooms on the ground floor and the garden (front and back). There is a mutual kitchen. There you can get coffee, tea, beer and wines. Cookies are also available. We got a...

We stayed at Le Bourg April 18 - 21, 2016, while visiting our daughter at Taize. This is a beautiful old home, restored by the owner Anton. Anton had offered to cook dinner for us the first night as cooking is a hobby of his...and it was wonderful! The rooms are large and beautifully appointed. Anton advised us on local...

What a fantastic stay we had at Le Bourg. Anton and Michael bent over backwards to make our stay memorable. They cooked us amazing meals on two of our nights we were there. The house looks like out of vogue living magazine. Comfortable beds, large bathrooms and gorgeous sitting room we could use. Tea and coffee room with all the...

We cannot rate our stay at LeBourg highly enough. The property is beautifully finished and decorated. The location among the vineyards of the Macon area is outstanding - tranquil with lovely views of the surrounding countryside, yet convenient for the small nearby town of Lugny and with easy access to the autoroute. Anton has a gift for hospitality and is...

This is the kind of place I have always dreamed of discovering just by chance and have now found it! Le Bourg is such a delightful and idyllic place -- set amongst vineyards and lovely villages, it is a real gem, renovated and still being renovated with sensitive taste by the owner, Anton. The building itself is complemented by carefully...

Very stylish B&B, very spacious rooms & bathrooms, small swimmingpool (not heated), friendly owner(s). Breakfast is perfect, basically cooked to order with fresh croissants, bread, cereals, yoghurt, jams and marmelades, fruit and so on. You can ask for anything. A lot of nice things to see in the area, like the Cluny Abbey. Ton and Mies will help you with...

Lovely quiet place, comfortable beds, large room, super-friendly multi-lingual host. The pizza from the van was a bit rubbish, our fault for arriving so late - considering the great food which is to be had in that area!
