We had a memorable stay at Le Relais de Scissé. Thierry and Philippe are gracious, generous hosts, and treasure troves of information on restaurants, vineyards, and sights in the area. The rooms are immaculate, spacious, and tastefully decorated. The pool and library are perfect places to relax after a day out. Breakfast is a feast, and Praline the cocker spaniel is a joy to be around. We can’t wait to go back!

We had a wonderful stay with Thierry, Philippe and Praline. They really make you feel at home. The room was very stylishly decorated, spotlessly clean and most enjoyable. We enjoyed the homemade breakfast under the trees and a dinner in the garden. They really make you feel welcome, and no effort is too much for them. Absolutely recommended!

If we could award more stars to this wonderful Chambre d’Hôte, we would. This place is a real treasure and we received such a warm welcome from our lovely hosts Thierry and Philippe (and Praline :). Every room is a delight thanks to their impeccable taste and no request is too much trouble. We were given excellent recommendations for restaurants, but also got to enjoy delicious home cooking. We originally planned to stay 5 nights at Le Relais de Scisse, but we adjusted our plans just to be able to squeeze in one more wonderful night at this guest house. The hosts, Thierry and Philippe are so accommodating, caring, and friendly that you feel immediately at ease. The room and house were beautifully decorated, very clean and a pleasure to relax in. In addition there was a lovely garden for relaxing and for shared meals as well as a good size pool to cool down in. There is also a useful kitchenette for guests ( in case you need a place to store all that good French cheese you just couldn't resist). We were able to do many day trips from this location, and our hosts were knowledgeable and helpful in choosing what to do. The breakfast was very good and sometimes it was possible to have a lovely dinner in the garden, some of our favorite evenings from vacation. We felt so relaxed and cared for during our stay here. 100% recommend for enjoying time in lovely burgundy.…

We spent two nights at Le Relais de Scissé. Thierry and Philippe were amazing hosts, sharing their love for their region and for meeting new people. The house is superb with a beautiful decoration and a lovely garden and pool. The room was very comfy and the meals were delicious. A weekend where we were able to relax, enjoy the beauty and culture around the village. A wonderful time in their company!

What can I add to the other glowing reviews? It's so special and the welcome you receive makes you think that they are delighted just to see you again, but then you realise that Philippe and Thierry give their warm welcome to everyone else too. The house reflects their own wonderful taste and it does really feel that you're a friend staying in their home. Arrangements for the current situation are immaculate; they have reduced the rooms they let from five to three in order to save gaps between clients and to allow extra cleaning time. As always, everything is just perfect. Such a great experience.

Shhhh!! We really don’t want anyone else to know about this most beautifully created guest house, we want it all to ourselves! Thierry and Phillipe have created a stylish Maison D’hotê to rank with any of the best ‘boutique’ hotels in France. Their teamwork brings together great food, friendly hospitality and rooms fit to grace any interior design magazine. The third member of the team, and the real brains behind the scene, is the most adorable black cocker spaniel ‘Praline’. A perfect maître d! You come away feeling you have been looked after and made long lasting friends. Simply fantastic!

We had a fantastic time and will certainly come back to this charming housing. We stayed there for 3 nights in our way to the south of France. Thierry&Phillip are super kind and supportive with whatever you'd need. And the little Praliné is adorable :)
