Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Lovely resort, with a beautiful infinity pool. The staff in the restaurant / bar were outstanding especially Brendan and Kate. The accommodation was perfect, we stayed in the studio apartment with our small dog. The only advice I would have was to make sure there is a dog towel in tbe apartment as advertised as we never brought ours as expected one.

Portavadie is the hidden gem of Scotland's West Coast. Accommodation is first class, the staff can't do enough to help you and the food is phenomenal. The breakfast was literally the best breakfast I've ever had.

I visited Portavadie with my husband for 3 nights to celebrate my birthday. We stayed in the lodge rooms, which were lovely clean and very comfortable . We had breakfast each day included in price, which includes a lot of choices . Our stay included leisure facilities with outdoor pool. We had a meal at Marina restaurant food was OK but staff made up for this with friendly chat and attention. We had a lively meal at Colintraive Hotel another evening . We took small drives and explored local villages enjoyed walk and time at ostrel Bay beach. We felt relaxed and would thoroughly would recommend a visit .
