Two male waiters employees in the dining room slept on the floor in a customer reception point and ignored me as a guest. After that, woke up from the floor to take food order. Furthermore these staffs didn't want to work and slept again on the floor playing mobile phones. They totally ignored me after putting my food on the table. I was the only one customer in the restaurant. AFTER finished eating, I saw the identical male employees on the floor playing cell phones in front of the cashire room, lacked of service mind and shameful attitude. The dining room was very dirty. Dusty with insects filled with spider webs under the roof. Toothpick, water on the floor. The female staff said drinks preparer has gone on holiday for 7 days, so no other drinks for sale, except, water, alcoholic and fizzy drinks beverages. When paying, the restaurant cannot issue a computer printed bill. Just spoke by mouth that is 530฿ have to pay cash only. computer bill must go upstairs in the lobby. The officer there said that there was no computer. Very unprofessional, asked for the manager. Staff in the lobby said is absent. Their service is below any standards in the industry. Very dissatisfied and disappointed!!!

It contains full facilities; parking area, good breakfast, water park, fish feeding activity, beautiful scenery, dinner boat trip. Our family had a great wonderful time there. I love the service from the staffs, they all are very supportive and service from the heart. We stayed on the land for safety sake since we have a 3 year-old baby with us when traveling. For the cost of food and beverage, it may be a bit expensive comparing to other standard restaurant. But it is acceptable comparing that we took a boat trip to see the sunset in the middle of the dam. The scenery is so gorgeous. It is recommended to do so at Ruknam Resort.

Room Tip: It would be more awesome if you take a house boat instead of villa on the land.

Rooms are spaceous , clean , relaxing . Having no WiFi is no big deal for us . We came to chill . Impressed by the friendly drivers , waiters and waitresses . They could improve the breakfast by having a coffee machine rather than instant granules . Adding fruit to the buffet would also improve the dining experience . My biggest gripe with the breakfast is that if you turn up after 8.30 , all the food is cold and half of the smoothies on the restaurant menu are unavailable because they don’t stock up on a variety of fruit . They were out of coconuts and pineapple during our visit . We enjoyed kayaking and swimming near outside our cabin-like room which was very peaceful . Upon check-in and check-out we were greeted coldly which most tourists would probably find shocking given that those are the most memorable moments for guests ie first and final impressions . We got the impression that they did not enjoy their jobs . When requesting for the mini golf cart to take us to the main road , the receptionist replied ‘ dai’ which means ‘ok ‘ in Thai . At first I thought I misinterpreted that as sounding rude as his tone sounded dissatisfied . My Thai wife confirmed that the male staff at reception spoke with an impolite and annoyed tone . We overheard another guest requesting the mini golf cart service and the male staff replied ‘ you have to queue up for that !’ Not a response most guests would expect . It’s sad to see this happen as this resort has a lot of potential with pleasant waiters and drivers , only to be let down by grumpy , bitter reception staff . We don’t plan on coming back again in the near future unless if the reviews improve . If the reception staff get some basic training on how to treat guests , we’ll consider giving them another try .

I think it was too expensive and not worth of money. The rooms were nice and the bathroom was spacious. However, the customer service wasn't great. The food was average. The facilities were ordinary. We booked the twin no. 5 and two extra beds. The extra beds we paid for 1400 baht per night. We were just offered the simple mattress with the towel and no small towel like the full set. I think 1400 baht extra per person was a bit too much compare to most of the resorts or hotels when they charge for additional person. The staff were accommodate. The water park was not in the safety conditions especially for the kid one. The kid water playground was very slippery to walk around. The wooden steps were covered with moss. The adult one, the floating things in the water park were flat not enough air. So it makes it's hard to jump or climb. They were in poor condition. It's dangerous.
