We (my husband, our mothers and I) spent a night here. We love the long tail boat ride to the resort. It is great for someone who look for hideaways. The cellphone reception is not stable. Wi-fi only at the pool area. The room is clean but dated. Bed sheet doesn't smell good. You have to eat dinner at the...

We stayed her 2 nights during our trip to the River Kwai. A lovely hotel, 1 of 4 hotels on the River. The individual bungalows are lovely, well furnished even with hairdryer and TV should you require and a discreet distance from each other so not intrusive. There is a small pool and towels are provided. We did the Virgin...

I stayed here 2 nights as part of a tour with Gate 1 travel. The huts are cute and plenty of room (I roomed alone) although you probably won't spend that much time in there anyways, as there's so much to enjoy outdoors. My room was clean and spacious enough for just me - there was a television, mini fridge,...

This peaceful resort is 1 hr driving from down town surrounded by mountains, river and trees. Staff is friendly. Private bungalows(STANDARD CHALET) is outdated. Bed is super hard, almost feel like sleeping on the floor. Toilet is okay, hot water is working, every Doors in my room is broken. Food is okay but overpriced. Cocktails drink is USD$5 (180THB) same...

We booked this direct with the Resotel. They picked us up from our Bangkok hotel early. We went to Kanchanaburi, walked across the bridge over the Kwai and visited the museum and the war cemetery. This was not rushed. We were transported by river to the hotel itself. A really good Thai lunch was provided. The rooms are in bungalows...

Booked a 3 night package that included transportation, tours and food + 1 extra night. Outstanding! Our contact/guide was a young man named BoBo. He took extremely good care of us and helped make this adventure seamless, pleasant and informative. Thank you BoBo! The river front resort was lush and beautiful. We had a private bungalow that was comfortable and...

I lodged at RKR while on a visit to Hell Fire Pass. I spent two nights at the hotel and had a pleasant experience. The hotel is accessed via a long tail boat ride from their pier that takes about 15 minutes. Scenic but noisy. The hotel itself is comprised of a central reception/dining/bar building and many cottages scattered on...

My friends and I had a great time at the beautiful resort. The location, build-up of the resort is great. What makes our stay memorable was the friendly staff. We had the unfotunate experience where our luggages was mistakenly sent off with another tour group but prompt action by resort manager helped in locating and securing our luggages back. Dont...

“Internet coverage is weak in rooms but free wifi at lobby lounge should suffice. It is a back-to-nature kind of resort anyway so it is best to stay off the internet for a while and experience the surrounding nature. ”
