We stayed at Paulo and Nid's place for 8 nights in March 2017 (it was meant to be 6!). We had been travelling for 2 months in budget accommodation and wanted a peaceful break and it more than delivered. It was the nicest place we had stayed on our trip - lovely comfortable, charming and clean bungalows (we were in...

We have a 7 and 10 year old and cannot say enough about this place. It is worth the extra dollars - it is immaculate, comfortable, peaceful and near the downtown. I recommend booking a trekking trip for a day with their guide. I also recommend having your own car. We stayed four nights - if you are on a...

Lovely hosts Paolo and Nid have created a peaceful garden setting in the lovely village of Thaton. Only 5 bungalows with 2 swimming pools, private balconies and little garden lounge platforms, this place invites visitors who want to unwind. When you're ready to explore there are tour options available. We negotiated a tailor-made half day trip to Wat Thaton, drive...

We spent 4 days in Paulo and Nid's guest house. The welcome was warm and the service was professional. We could discover authentic Thailande. The rooms are charming bungalows in luxuriant gardens. The food cooked by Nid is delicious ! Eve & Benoit & Emma

We spent just 1 night at the old tree's house but we enjoyed the place. Paulo and his wife are very nice, the food is great with an nice view from the restaurant. The rooms in a middle of a nice garden with a pool are nice, very clean. You can feel a special atmosphere, like being at home.

I spent a night in a cottage with my dad and a friend. Paulo was more than welcoming. the room was comfortable for the 3 of us. The resort was full but you don't feel overcrowded as very well floor planned and every cottage has a terrace with 100% privacy. the dinner and breakfast were amazing ! I would go...

We stayed here for 4 nights before heading to Koh Samui. Originally had three nights booked but immediately extended our stay an extra night after seeing the place. The location is on a hillside just outside the small town of Thaton, which is in easy walking distance for shopping and dining. The bungalow was very clean, well decorated, and had...

This is a good value hotel. Stayed in one of the smaller bungalows which was clean, well equipped and comfortable. We ate dinner and breakfast at the hotel which was enjoyable. Staff/owners were friendly and attentive. For the price I can certainly recommend this accomodation.

We stayed here for one night in the double bungalow, with our 3 kids. This is more of a couples romantic hotel than a family spot, so we urged our children to be on their best behavior. The swimming pool is lovely but tiny, and there is no A/C in the bungalows. That said, the fans work well, and the...

“I was not in the other bungalows. They are all in the lovely gardens. Take a higher priced one if you want large. Ours had a very large bed and a single bed with mosquito nets. A lovely room.”
