This accommodation though rustic, is extremely clean and comfortable. It is gorgeously serene and quiet. Completely immersed in jungle, by rivers, farms and animals!! Many elephant sanctuaries nearby!! The shower has hot water and the bed is very comfortable with a large mosquito net above the bed. Each little villa has an ensuite western toilet. It can get cool in...

Spicy Villa is the most incredible place I've ever been to. The scenery is unbelievable; Surrounded by jungles, farms, rivers and waterfalls. Being able to sleep to the sound of the nearby waterfall was so peaceful and relaxing. Samart and the rest of the staff are extremely accommodating, fun, and an absolute pleasure to be around. Not only are the...

Fantastic place to unwind in the fresh mountain air. Quiet, family friendly and in a beautiful location. Close to waterfall swimming spot, local elephant camps and Karen school and village. Staff treat you like part of a big family with communal meals for guests and every effort to satisfy your wishes. I would strongly recommend for anyone visiting Thailand to...

If you want to experience real Thailand, Spicy Villa is the place to go. It's no 5 star accommodation, but that's what adds to the richness of this experience. A great educational experience for our travelling family of four.

Spicy Villa is set atop a beautiful mountain and all of the bungalows have incredible views. The accommodation is rustic, but the bed was comfortable and it kept us dry in a rainstorm. Spicy Villa is more like a traveler community than just a place to stay. Highly recommend!

The moment I first saw Spicy Villa, I knew I had struck gold. A simple yet effective set-up up on the mountain ranges of northern Thailand where you feel nothing but tranquility. Where do I start? The morning mist in the valley, the sound of nature, the million dollar view of forest, rice terraces and creek, the dinner cook-up and...

After 2 relaxing weeks spent on beaches in the south of Thailand, we took our family to Spicy Villa in the northern jungles hoping for a change of scene and a more immersive cultural experience. We were not disappointed. We had a family bungalow on bamboo poles (2 double rooms with a simple bathroom and an adjoining deck) with views...

We had the best time visiting Spicy Villa. We are a group of 4 backpackers who stayed for 2 nights in the family bungalow and did the bamboo rafting plus elephant camp. Our guide Boon was wonderful-drove us to all the activities and answered all of our questions. Food at the Villa was always delicious and filling. Rooms were clean...

I stayed at Spicy Villa for one night of a three day program and it was amazing! I could not have asked for a better program. I was able to do three days of trekking, two cooking classes, a stay at Spicy Villa, a home stay in a Karen Village, played with elephants, and went down a river on a...

Comfortable stay. Very cute lodging. They grow many of their own crops and recycle/compost (often hard to find that in Thailand). The guides/employees were very friendly and entertaining. Bring some cash for beer, wine, alcohol and bottled water. Also bring your own soap, a flashlight and a sweatshirt as it gets chilly at night! They do have outlets in your...
