It could be the best resort in the region. But nobody looks up the room, many things not work, the room always dirty, we visit this resort many time, but no more. Too overpriced for a dirty bungalows 1400.bath.
Twice a year we travel to Dan Chang Suphanburi to a little town about 190 K’s north of BKK to visit my wife’s family The area is very rural but every time we visit we are seeing a definite growth in business in the town centre 5 years ago other than the resort there was limited restaurants in town but now at least more than 10 different options available Now let’s talk about this resort - from the moment you arrive you feel very welcome with all the staff greeting you with a smile After you walk past all the manicured gardens and grassed area you enter your room and you are reminded of how spacious the rooms are with a king size bed and aircon that works a treat Soon after arrival I ventured around the resort to check out all the recent changes and discovered a new Gym with very modern equipment which I new I would utilise After enquiring at reception I was informed the opening hours were between 3 - 9 pm and visitors can pay 100 baht to use which I thought was great value Next discovery was a new huge outdoor pool - again a facility that I used a couple of times each day The best time was 6 - 7.30 each evening as there was no direct sun and the water temperature was perfect You have that feeling you could be anywhere in the world absorbing the ambience of this new area The pool was next to the additional rooms that were under construction on our last visit - looking very modern too Well done to the owners who have definitely invested into the development of this little gem and a big thank you to all the hard working staff Ps if your driving a car to visit the Bridge over the River Kwai area I would add an extra day to visit this spot on the way back because it is very peaceful and relaxing …
We have stayed here for the 7 years as my parents retired here. The resort is very good to say it's in the middle of nowhere. The staff speak very little English and my Thai is very pigeon but there all very friendly and helpful. There are 3 swimming pools, the resort is very clean and very good value for money.
If you happen to be in this area, which is quite quiet for some and well off the beaten track for others; this resort offers everything. It is located outside of the main town but it has good amenities. There is a pool and parking. The staff are very attentive and the restaurant has evening entertainment and very good reasonably priced dishes with a breakfast buffet in the morning. Breakfast is also served to the room but beware of the cat! Its hungry for love and attention and food!
