We came back from Canfields last night after having the most amazing weekend with friends in the 10 person tent. From start to end it was brilliant, we were greeted by Sarah on our arrival and were feeding cows in under 5 minutes! We were made to feel so welcome and at home from the second we arrived. We were...

This was our fourth Featherdown Farm trip (all to different locations), and ranks among the best we've experienced - only Hidcote Manor comes close. The location is peaceful and picturesque. And there's plenty to do on the doorstep. The local Firebird brewery and Milk Churn Cafe are worth a visit, as is the nearby Fox Inn. And we had lunch...

We spent the weekend at Canfields - 29 of us from 6 families. It was a wonderful weekend, aided by great weather. Helpful and friendly hosts, lovely setting, good tents. We had the entire site to ourselves - which worked very well. The farm is just what you would expect and reviews on TA pretty much cover everything. We noticed...

Stayed over a bank holiday weekend in the largest tent (sleeps 10), with young teenagers. Really beautiful location. Our tent/lodge backed onto some lovely woods with lots of bluebells this time of year. The farming family here were very lovely and welcoming. They came to check we were ok every morning, and to let the children know it was time...

Just back from Canfields for the third time in three years and had a great time. Very relaxing and the family that run it are helpful and leave you to it but are there if needed. As there is a chest freezer and fridge in the honesty shop we take a lot of food and store it in there as...

Had a fanatic few days at Canfields Farm, highly recommended. Good location not far from London and Brighton. The welcome was great and the farm was lovely, Tim and Sarah where fanatic hosts and Wiggie the cat was a superstar.

Canfields Farm is an amazing place, with beautiful, well equipped tents. The owners were very welcoming and inforative too but there was just one thing that ruined it for me... It was freezing at night! The feather down website boasts well insulated tents that keep the warmth in, but we were so cold we had to use two duvet covers...

This was our first experience of a Featherdown Farm and we were so unlucky with the weather! Despite the cold we had a fantastic time. The children had so much fun feeding the orphaned lambs, collecting eggs and meeting the cows. The beds were extremely comfortable and the tent well equipped. The beef provided by the farm for our bolognese...

Returning to Featherdown, Cranfields we wondered if it would be as good second time around but it was better! We are a blended family of six and our 4 children quickly made friends with the other 8 children there and they simply had an amazing free and unrestricted week of fun. Sarah and Tim are great hosts, they really couldn't...

The family who run this Feather Down Farm site couldn't have us made us feel more welcome. The farm is in a beautiful setting with a large field for the children to romp around in and a wood for them to explore. Because of the way it is all enclosed it feels very safe. The children loved having animals (sheep)...
