We have stayed and eaten at this hotel several times over the last few years. It is run by a couple - Madame Pelegrín welcoming guests and running the restaurant and her husband in the kitchen. We are always warmly welcomed. The hotel, although close to the centre of town, is set in a peaceful garden where one can sit...

The food is quite ok, but the wife of the patron is teribble! Very unfriendly, i felt very unwelcome! I will never go there again! I will bring my money to a place where i am welcome. Although the waitress who helped us was lovely, i feel sorry for her she has to work with this woman!

We didn't stay here, but ate here. The service, food, selection, and setting were all beyond reproach. We tried to go back again, but they are not open every day in January and February. Best meal we had in the Tournon, Angles, Roche-Posay area.

Its a small hotel; the building was originally designed for barrel making and there are old photographs around. The rooms are in a separate section of the building on three floors with a narrow wooden staircase....

For the last two years we have had a week's holiday as a family of 20+ in an old farmhouse to the east of Poitiers. This area seems to have a dearth of restaurants serving family-cooked French food. So we have tended to eat chez nous, more so this year. I have always been a great fan of Logis hotels....
