Booked in at the Shibden Mill Inn for afternoon tea, to celebrate a friends birthday today but was quite disappointed. We were booked in for 3pm but despite asking twice the food wasn't served until 3.50pm. I rang up prior to our visit to order no fish sandwiches for two of our party but unfortunately this was completely disregarded. I...

Enjoyed another fabulous evening with friends at the Shibden Mill Inn. The chaps shared the 'platter de fruits de mer' which was wonderful. I had a very hearty roast. Great service and atmosphere. Thanks to all the staff, we will be back soon.

Friendly, pleasant, smart and knowledgable staff.. We were made really welcome , had our meals in the restaurant and could not fault anything really good and fresh. Fabulous bedroom. We will return. They even let us have a cutting of a plant I have been searching for so will always have a memory of our stay. Thanks

Was great just as expected, stayed overnight and used the downstairs Resturant this time, food was spot on, various offers on a Tuesday night gave great value. Weather perfect so had starter outside then moved inside for main. Must book earlier next time to get a room with a view.

This is an excellent place to stay. The food is of the highest quality, served by courteous staff who are all smartly dressed in uniform, which suits the location. Bedrooms/beds are very comfortable and are well stocked, even to the point of including a toothbrush set, for those who have forgotten their own. All in all an excellent Hotel who's...

We stayed for 3 nights from 15th June. We were in the Bower Suite which was pleasant & comfortable with its own terrace. We found the food gimmicky with a tendency to be very undercooked. It is pub food, with very little skill, served on wooden boards or slates with separate items in small containers such as miniature saucepans/colanders & kilner...

Having lived in the area all my life, I can't believe I hadn't been to the Shibden Mill Inn before. We went as a family for lunch last week and it was really good. We sat outside as it was the hottest day of the year but there was at times a rather overpowering drain like smell which did spoil...

A beautiful setting, a fabulous Inn, friendly welcoming staff, and if it was in Devon or Cornwall I would sell up and move in permanently. This Inn is a delight on the senses. Our room (10) was gorgeous, comfortable, and clean. Breakfast was a joy, and the bar / restaurant offers something memorable for all tastes. We will be returning

Have visited here a few times for lunch with work colleages and the food has always been really good. The small bar stocks a lot of wines and pretty much most beers etc. It is in a very quiet, lovely location - though hard to find a mobile phone signal here (!) The service is always very good and attentive...
