Stefano and his wife Elizabeth run a perfect agriturismo, perched on the side of the valley outside Mompeo. The accommodation is simple but effective; the vegetarian food is excellent. Stefano even made me a gluten-free loaf of bread as I am coeliac. Many of the visitors, mostly British, German, Dutch and Belgian in the spring and autumn, are walkers using...

We stayed two nights as part of a weeklong walk in the Sabine Hills. Stefan and his woofers could not have been more welcoming. The organic, vegetarian meals were of the highest quality. The setting and the views were spectacular. Stefano's tour of his ancient olive grove and Roman villa site were a highlight of our trip.

From the moment we arrived until the early morning departure, everything was amazing. Stefano and Elisabeth exude warm hospitality and let you discover the beauty of this area and their place. At the end of our last day, Stefano provided a tour for us and other guests of the Casa Romano discovered under the shepherd's cottage and the ancient olive...

We stayed here for two nights at the end of a recent hiking holiday in the Sabine Hills. The property is beautifully situated near the Farfa Gorge. Our room was spacious and comfortable and our host, Stefano, was extremely helpful and accommodating. The meals were really spectacular, particularly the multi-course dinners, which included beautifully prepared vegetables and home-made pastas. Stefano...

This is an absolutely perfect place to relax in perfect peace after walking in the beautiful Sabine Hills. Stephano is a wonderful host, his commitment to his farm, food and preserving the tradition and history of the area is infectious. The evening meals and wine were exceptional, some of the best food I have eaten.

We stayed two nights, and had some of the best meals ever. Everything was freshly prepared by Stefano and although not vegetarians, the lack of meat...

This should be the best kept secret among people who visited Le Mole sul Farfa. Once you've been there you don't want anyone else to discover this fantastic place. Great rooms, fantastic breakfast but then: dinner on the terrace! Forget all prejudgements about vegetarian food. It was just divine! I almost forgot the hostess Elisabeth and the host Stefano who...

It was a great place to end the on foot holiday tour of the Sabine Hills. The entire tour was really well done, and Stefano and Elizabeth were available during the entire time. Once we got to their place, it was a fabulous place to relax a bit and do some day hikes. Their advice was well founded. The cooking...

The owners, Stephano and Elisabeth provide a really warm welcome and very professional standard of accommodation. The vegetarian food is really really good! Usually their own produce, all home made and exquisitely presented. One of our party was a committed carnivore but they did not even notice the absence of meat. The guided tour of the Olive groves and Roman...

We spent 5 nights at Le Mole for the final leg of a fortnight's honeymoon in Italy, and without doubt this was the highlight of our trip. Stefano and Elizabeth are an amazing couple - despite the challenges of running an ancient olive farm, stewarding local walking trails and raising small children, they also run the agriturismo with unwavering energy...
