Catherine and Stewart are lovely hosts and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was large with a lovely ensuite and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast was superb and plenty of it! Lovely...

We stayed at Lake View recently and although it is only a pleasant 20 minute walk into the buzz of Keswick, it is a haven of peace and tranquillity. Stuart greeted us on arrival and made us feel very welcome, with tea and cake provided in the lounge to settle us in. The guesthouse is lovely, very homely, comfortable and...

We were welcomed by Catherine upon arrival who showed us round, and showed us to our room, we stayed in room 3, and had an excellent view of the lake. What a fantastic stay! This home from home gem is close to Keswick town centre with easy access to local attractions/walks. Catherine and Stewart's warm hospitality is first class! Their attention to detail meant we wanted for nothing. By far, the best B&B we've ever visited. Will definitely go back and have already recommended it to friends. Thank you so...

Our first visit and nothing to fault. This is a special place - quality in every way. Extremely pleasant hosts and just the right balance of personal attention. Would definitely recommend and will be our first choice on returning to the area.

Catherine and Stewart are the perfect hosts. Catherine's a great cook and we had the best dinner meal ever. No view from this BB but she more than makes up for this with attention to all the little details that make her guests feel welcome and special. Location is also quite convenient and walkable to Keswick town centre.

Also a nice country pub that serves food a minute walk away. We stayed in the superior room which was beautiful with great views of the...

The fact that I'm writing this review a whole year after our stay says enough already. It'll never be out of mind since everything was absolutely spot on: welcome, breakfast (!!!), views, tranquility and atmosphere were second to None - most definitely my favourite B&B, worth a recommending. Stayed there on our concert tour through the North of England. We...

We arrived late to a very warm welcome from Stuart and were shown to a beautifully appointed and homely room. We had a fantastic sleep and then went downstairs to a delicious breakfast. We ate our evening meal there on the Saturday night; a great decision as the food was first class and unbelievable value. We really enjoyed our weekend...
