Very old , well maintained building and managed. Sat outside in a shady spot, greeter was very helpful, friendly staff assisted with questions.. great selection of beers, James Squire golden ale was my choice and I'm glad, really good taste. my wife had rabbit pie and I had kangaroo, both accompanied with delicious veggies.

A really good surprise to find this dining venue, especially as we we did not have a booking. Great range of meal choices & drinks, at reasonable prices. The meals we enjoyed were excellent. The friendliness & high standard of service given by the waitressing staff was a major plus for the venue. A memorable experience for us.

The Rose and Crown had fabulous smart modern rooms in the motel section. The receptionist was under great pressure as she had to take the first of 5 people who had arrived to show the room they were staying in in the hotel itself. The door was locked and we waited outside on the verandah in freezing weather. She was...

The Rose and Crown was our second choice, but our first choice had closed their kitchen. we sat on the verandah and enjoyed a lovely, if not generous in size, lunch with wine. The service was great, especially when our waitress managed to ask a family to get their children under control.

My partner and I stayed here when our friends got married in Swan Valley - we enjoyed the pool area and our quiet room. The food at the restaurant was absolutely sensational and I would highly recommend making a trip there purely for the chicken parmi!

We booked a table for 5 for a fairwell meal for a party of 6. At the last minute we added another guest, which was no dramas for the hotel. We were seated outside amongst beautiful gardens, complete with fairy lights to add to the ambience of the evening. The service was great, and the food was delicious.

This was our second stay at the Rose and Crown - it's fairly convenient for Perth Airport. Guildford is very pleasant, the room was good. Breakfast was good last time - as it's only served from 8am we missed out this time around. We didn't have dinner, but went to one of the good restaurants across the road. Service, as...

We often meet here for lunch and a drink or two in the sunshine. The service is always great and I love the garden area. Often busy on a Sunday afternoon so can be worth booking ahead if you have a group.

Had the Texan Parmy $28.00, really good Dish but the pie $25.00 was not good , dried chicken in the pie with no filling sauce to keep it moist ? Gravy peas and fried spuds ok .
