This peaceful lovely chateau is far away from the din of the city, a beautiful treasure set in a large wood. Peaceful rest is assured. Madame is a gracious hostess who made us feel welcome and appreciated.

Had a great time staying at le Chateau de La Rozelle. Very quiet, beautiful park. The room, which appears to be in the recently built part of the chateau was very nice, very spacious for my parents and I. Breakfast was great, many local products, in a beautiful room looking to the park. Very nice friendly staff.

We spent four wonderful nights here and left very happy campers. The building is beautiful and the rooms - we chose the prestige booking - were excellent, very comfortable and nicely decorated. The chateau is a short 15 to 20 minute drive to Blois, a wonderful city on the Liore. A number of the important chateau's - Chambord, Cherverny, Blois...

Found this spot in the middle of a rain storm. Would have enjoyed wandering the grounds but way to wet. Beautiful room. Good meal. They are under construction to add an elevator (helpful to get to rooms). They also seem to be adding more rooms.

Better than staying in the city. Very clean and nicely appointed. Breakfast is fine and they even have dinner. Monday and Tuesdays the 3 restaurants in the town are closed. But make reservations directly. Hotels.com got the reservations wrong and they made me pay 11 euros each day for breakfast which was supposed to be included. There is no place...

Nice but different hotel in the Lore valley. Not really a chateau, more a very large old house. We arrived about lunchtime and told the hotel reception was closed till 4pm even though we were in the reception and talking to the receptionist. We were allowed to leave our luggage and found on returning at 6pm it had been put...

The night we spent at Chateau de La Rozelle was very enjoyable: comfortable beds, air conditionned rooms, bottled water in the rooms, good breakfast. Also, we got good advice from the owners regarding visits and restaurants. They were helpful making reservations. We unfortunately could not try the hotel's restaurant because it was all booked when we decided we would have...

We arrived at about 13:30 and were met by a man who said reception was closed to 16:00.After some discussion he deceided to check us in. Our room was on the top floor which did not help my bad knee. The room was average and hot. The window was open which let in a lot of traffic noise and fumes...

What a surprise to read your critical opinion : - You perfectly know the reception hours which are indicated on your booking document and also the price of breakfast. - I don't understand why you chose to stay at the castle for diner, in an environment such as you describe. - While you have difficulty to walk,, you chose a...

Four of us recently stayed here for 3 nights while touring the region. It is very well placed for access to interesting locations and as a base for cycling. The hostess, her daughter and the young lady who served the meals were very friendly and efficient. The beds were very comfortable (very important!) and the whole place was in very...

Chateau de la Rozelle is a beautiful chateau located in Cellettes, as small town in the heart of the Loire Valley. From the chateau we made day trips to Vouvray, Amboise, Saumur, Chambord, and Chateau de Chenonceau. The Rozelle was very convenient and very well equipped to accommodate tourists. We reserved the Privilege Family Room for the 3 adults in...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
La Rozelle, a Château-hotel near Chambord The Château-hotel of La Rozelle is located less than 20 minutes away from the prestigious chateaux of Chambord, Blois, Cheverny and Chaumont-sur-Loire. If you choose to spend part of your journey with us, we will share with you our passion for the architecture, gardens, and history of the château. Each room has its own personalized decoration, with 18th century-style furniture and tapestries. For the floors and bathrooms, we have focused on using natural stone.
