An ancient house full of character and history. Anne is a proud owner and gives a wonderful "history lesson" about this interesting property surrounded by beautiful gardens. Her dog is extremely friendly, a true gentleman. Breakfast was extensive with home made treats. A homely environment.

Thank you so much, dear visitors, for your quoting so high Villa Magnolia! Yes indeed such a place has a "historical charm" most people really appreciate. You visited Giverny and various castles all around. But you could also try rowing or wandering from one wild island to the other on the river Seine, at the corner of the street, down the house....

We had a beautiful stay with Anne; the house had so much atmosphere, and the early budding of the flowers and leaves at the start of Spring made us wish we could see the beautiful grounds in a month's time. Anne very happily provided photos on the internet to show us what it developed into. The breakfast was superb; we...

Dear Susie, dear Peter, What a review! Thanks a lot for expressing such an entousiastic point of vew. Next time you come you start with cheese, in order to compare them, and especially our Normandy Camembert, refined with Calvados alcohol! I have no idea about what an Australian breakfast should be composed of. But I am glad you enjoyed mine....

It is a shame that we did not know what a delight it was to stay with Anne. We would have planned more days to stay there. Breakfast was legendary, and Anne is an encyclopedia of 20th century art history. I can't imagine a trip to Paris in the future without at least two nights at Anne's place.

A tremendous couple! I am so glad you found your one night stay so tremendous: I do my best and try to understand what my guests might wish. It might be silence and retirement, it might be settling a friendly relationship, even for such a short while, it all depends, and this is why it is so exciting having to...

We really enjoyed very much staying in Villa Magnolia. Anna is very kind and helpful, she recommended interesting places to visit and good restaurants to have a dinner. Anna's dog (Gaillard - not sure about the spelling) is very clever and really a member of the family. The villa itself is very cosy and has a good location.

Dear guests, I thank you for having found everything was perfect! In fact, I try and improve this or that, little things that make my guests feel comfortable and enjoy their holiday, even for a short while, even just for one single night. It is such a pleasure each time a new customer comes in! And I am so glad...

This is THE place to stay in the area around Giverny. Anne Klotz has updated this lovely old property, with beautifully appointed rooms and bathrooms. Her breakfast was beyond wonderful, with homemade jams and breads and cakes, yogurt, etc.! And, Anne herself is a goldmine of information about the whole area and its history. Anne's golden lab, Gaia, added very...

Dear friends, Thank you so much for all those compliments: I am overwhelmed with confusion! But I have already noticed my peaceful ancient house, so typically normand, provides American travelers with a change of scenery they find delightful... Besides, I try to do my best for my guests. For I enjoy life streams from their feeling welcome. Since you were...

We stayed in Villa Magnolia with our 2 teenage sons (17 and 15). The house and garden is absolutely gorgeous and located in a beautiful, peaceful area. Dear friends, It was a real pleasure to meet the four of you. I enjoyed the very brief company of your lovely family during that lovely visit of yours. I shall not forget your so well behaved teenager sons playing football with my Gaïa! Hope you received the pictures I sent you. Best regards Anne Klotz Villa Magnolia

Our stay at Villa Magnolia was pleasant - we were greeted on arrival and made to feel very much at ease with the house. Travelling with a baby is rarely easy at B&Bs, and so it was nice to have a lounge area to sit in that was separate to the bedroom, and a large garden to walk around. The...
