The room was clean, starting to wear out a little (a crack in the toilet tank). A soap dispenser on the shower room wall and towels. Breakfast ok. Couldn't connect to Wifi in the room, only in the corridor behind the door of the room. The receptionist said that Wifi doesn't reach all the rooms depending on the location of the room.
Stayed here at the last minute. Service and room was clean and comfortable. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate in the restaurant and the food was very enjoyable. Restaurant staff were friendly and helpful and there was a good menu choice.
I went there for dinner and was pleasantly surprised, considering Põlva is not a tourist hotspot. The atmosphere was lovely, our waitress seemed to enjoy her job and they had a good wine list. We didn't stay in a hotel but were kindly allowed to have breakfast the next morning. Good choice for 6 Eur.

Very old hotel ( I guess this was fresh in Sovjet time) but it was clean. The food was excelent, except for the dessert (pancake) which was cooked in oil. The resturant staff need some more training but this ia a general issue in Estonia.
