The room was excellent! Great view of the bay. The Ladies were friendly and helpful. The bed was so comfortable I did not want to get up! They offer laundry service at a great price. They provide you exactly the 1 Keurig pod per person per night and do charge for additional coffee pods for the Keurig -so if your a 2 cup coffee drinker in the morning you may wish to bring extra pods!
Rooms are exactly as pictured - so no surprises!

We stayed here in August and it was absolutely wonderful. The rooms were so comfortable and the place was immaculately clean! The owners were so lovely and actually went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. We really appreciated their kindness! We had several rooms books as our extended family was travelling together, and the accommodations were so convenient for a group of this size.

Raleigh Rooms is situated within close driving distance of Burnt Cape Ecological Reserve, which was absolutely spectacular. I wished we’d planned to stay longer!

We liked having a kitchen to be able to make our own breakfast or use the BBQ. Also convenient for a travelling family. Be aware that there is just one tiny little store in town where you can buy a limited amount of groceries (and the hours are not typical). We totally made it work, and kind of enjoyed the adventure of it all. But if you have picky eaters or specific dietary concerns, you may want to buy your groceries in St. Anthony and bring them with you to Raleigh.

10/10! I definitely recommend staying here! I would go back in a heartbeat!

The room was very spacious with a lovely, large, updated bathroom. The ocean was right out your door with a common firepit on the beach for guest use.
We appreciated the mini bar fridge and mini kitchenette with basic supplies. If you plan to stay more than one night, you will need to ask for your dirty dishes to be washed as there was no supplies included to do so yourself. You will also need to ask for any supplies you run out of at the office as there is no maid service.
The decor had a lovely beach theme however the pillows needed replacing desperately. The bed was passable but not what we'd rate as really comfortable which was more obvious to us as we stayed multiple nights. Parking was plentiful and there was a ramp for wheel chair access. The town was small and quiet. The Wi fi was spotty at times but it is a remote area so to be expected. The owners were kind, friendly and helpful.

We arrived at this remote location on Wednesday July 20 with a printed confirmation for the Iceberg Suite for two nights, July 20 th and 22 st. Upon arrival late in the afternoon the owner disavowed any knowledge of our reservation and said they were fully booked. There was no other accommodation there nor anywhere else. We were extremely disappointed with their booking system. We had made this booking in the previous December on a recommendation.

We would not recommend the Raleigh Rooms as a destination accommodation, confirmation or not!

Raleigh Rooms was the nicest accommodations we had on our tour of Western NL. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean - even included a small "kitchenette" (microwave/toaster/coffee maker & dishes). Enjoyed the campfire pit across the street and bought a soap stone carving in the gift shop. Excellent 2 night stay!

We stayed here two nights. Very well maintained and clean. Great view of the water. Check in was easy and owner was very pleasant and helpful. One of the few places we have stayed over the last week in NL that accommodates disabled people. We would definitely recommend staying here. Could use an area rug on sides of bed as floor is cold in middle of the night.

Spotless and nicely decorated room with a great bay view. Make sure to check the art in tbe reception area and visit the canon holes in the ecological reserve. Power went off during our stay and they brought a flashlight to our room. 30 minutes from L'anse aux Meadows.

We stayed at Raleigh rooms in the polar bear suite for 3 nights. It was so peaceful, you can
Listen to the waves at night and wake up to it in the morning. The sunsets and sun roses are beautiful from the room or the deck also. The rooms are very modern and extremely clean. The service was top notch. Easy to contact always asking if we needed anything extra, informative on local site and culture. This will be our place to stay when we visit again

Located across from the waterfront, the rooms are beautifully finished. Clean rooms with comfy beds. The hosts, Kim and John were super to chat with each day. Raleigh Rooms is well located for visiting L'Anse aux Meadows and the St. Anthony area. Taylors Crafts features carvings by the owner, John, his brother and father. Extremely talented carvers.

There are limited accommodations up towards L’anse aux Meadows and Raleigh is close enough to be your base. It is a lovely town and location in its own right. The Raleigh Rooms is a pretty new an modern motel that is very well done. The kitchen could support a long stay if that is what you are looking for. They have seating and a fire pit across the road to enjoy the bay and sunsets and an impressive gift shop with lots of original native art
