A fantastic hotel, great decor, great ambiance and lovely friendly staff! Great location and very easy to find, I arrived on the ferry at Santander at 17:00pm and didn’t fancy my 6 hour drive at night, so decided to do a stop over - I was at the hotel in just under two hours from Santander. The room blew me away, huge bathroom with ‘The White Company’ products (which smell gorgeous) and a VERY comfortable bed. Great breakfast with plenty of choice, hot or cold, all fresh and great quality. I also had a meal in their restaurant the evening I arrived and it was perfect. Throughout the hotel where sanitisers, and the hotel looked immaculately clean! All staff and other guests wearing masks, really they couldn’t do anymore to make it a safe environment to stay. Next time I’ll try out the Spa! I honestly cannot find fault in this Hotel!

The hotel charged us higher rate that it was published on the web site when we made the reservation, plus additional money for a baby sleeping in our bed. The suite that we were given was under the roof, which was not very comfortable and did not match the photos on the web page. I checked with the reception and a regular suite was available. As we already unpacked, we decided not to move. The room did not have the bathrobe, sleepers, glasses, bottle opener, and just one bottle of water for the three of us. Had to ask the receptionist to bring everything. The kids are not allowed to the spa, plus there are no facilities for the kids. I would mark the hotel as adult only, it is definitely not the best place to stay with kids. The only thing that was nice was the bed, real king size with good quality mattress.

We loved it. Be sure to purchase the spa pass so you can spend an hour doing all of the fun pools and showers. Our lunch was delicious and service was excellent. It was the perfect treat for the last day of our Camino.

A Celebration or peace, rest, comfort, luxury, good-food - if these are what you are looking for this is the perfect place for you. We stayed 10 days at this hotel ten minutes away from Gijon on the northern coast of Spain. We paid for a junior suite overlooking the outdoor pool which was spacious, bright, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The hotel is situated in a rural location but has good road links to the nearest city Gijon and airports Oviedo and Santander. We flew via Madrid to Santander and had an easy journey to the hotel aided by excellent service from car hire firm Alamo. We enjoyed the fantastic buffet breakfast including freshly prepared eggs, bacon, omelettes, and pancakes. We booked B&B so we were free to experience the amazing fresh fish and high quality cuisine which this area is renowned for and which lived up to its reputation. We had dinner in the hotel a couple of nights and enjoyed beautifully presented food, and drinks with good company in the lounge. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable and all will go out of their way to help you enjoy your stay. Reception staff, who literally worked into the night to help us plan walks, restaurants, airport arrangements and for our wedding anniversary celebration we had cards, chocolate, fruit and sparkling wine delivered to our suite. Thanks to all and in particular Blanca, Jose, Cristina, Victor, Roberto on reception, dining room staff, Javi and those in the gym and spa keeping all areas spotlessly clean. The 24 hour gym has extensive modern equipment, spa facilities include sauna, Turkish bath, Jacuzzi whilst treatments are a plenty and massage can be singles or with partners. A car is necessary to make the most of visiting coves and beaches nearby. Playa de Nora is the nearest beach a 5k drive away. From here there is a pathway which has spectacular cliff top views and can be used to either visit the next cove or all the way to Gijon with its impressive University building, sandy beaches, old town, restaurants, cake shops and upmarket El Corte Ingles department store. The hotel location offers peace and tranquility, comfort and luxury or you can visit the sights and tastes of Gijon city or can seek out mountain paths, coastal walks or lie on countless clean beaches generally with delicious seafood offerings. The choice is yours and you can celebrate any occasion in style. Thanks to all concerned in making our visit so enjoyable. Wendy and Robin

Very modern hotel, nice rooms & facilities. Bathroom quite funky. Bar area very nice with squishy sofas...bar service a little relaxed...but ok. Dinner was very tasty and included a bottle for the 2 of us as part of the dinner,B&B package. Our waiter was very jolly. Pool looked nice but unfortunately it was a grey day when we were there so didn't use the outside space. Breakfast included a really good selection of hot and cold food, but service was a little curt. Reception staff very nice.
