A rare find and well worth seeking out. Good sized rooms and suites. Private parking for motorbikes. Brewery on site and great beer to try. Good food in their restaurant. Lovely hosts. Comfy beds. Air conditioned rooms. Perfect.

The Hotel is quite a distance from any amenities. The restaurant was closed the night we were there for a private function so, we had to drive to Hagenau to get food. They make quite good beer at L'Ermitage but the bar wasn't open at 4 as promised and the cleaner had to go locate someone to open it. Spectacular...

It's our second year at l'hermitage and the welcome and hotel are wonderful with a strong Family run feel. If you enjoy beer the Family even have their own micro-brewery. You're close enough to Strasbourg and also have the beautiful Hagenau forest a stones throw away. Very calm at night too and superb welcome! Highly recommended.

A very friendly and personal welcome! After good experiences 1,5 - 2 years ago, I haven't had any doubts to stay here again (they still recognised me)! I recommend to try the beers brewed in the hotel-owned brewery! Nice and clean room with sufficient space and a good bed. Dinner in the restaurant (local specialities) is also very good. My...

We spent three nights in this family-run hotel and it became a home away from home. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfasts were good. The food in the dining room was very good. The beer- made on the premises- was excellent. But best of all was the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. Madame advised us on places...

We enjoyed our stay at L'Ermitage - a great location for exploring northern Alsace. Good proximity to Strasbourg, but even better location for checking out the northern towns in Alsace. The hotel brewery was a bonus - after a day of touring we enjoyed fresh brews and a traditional Alsacien dinner on the hotel lovely patio. The hotel owner is...

This hotel is located within easy walking distance of the old city, and offers excellent facilities at a reasonable price. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and the rooms were clean and roomy. A common complaint with most hotels in Europe is that there are no tea/coffee making facilities, and this is no exception, but the hotel has a reasonable priced...

We found this hotel by chance and got the last room - the suite! For 107 euros we now have 4 beds, 2 bathrooms, a loft, great views and a sliding door towards a beautiful and quiet garden. Definitely better than we could imagine and expect. Normally I find hotels in France being a bit too colourful, but this is...
