My wife and I spent 7 nights at this beautifully restored chateau. Alison and Paul have done a great job bringing le chateau back to life. We stayed in the Viscount room, which is the largest. We felt like royalty! The location is outstanding, the views breathtaking with a lovely pool which we were able to take advantage of. The... More

Many thanks for the review and feedback. We normally do provide meals on request, we were just not able to do it during your stay - sorry about that. Hope you can visit us again and we can arrange a feast! Paul & Alison More

Spent 4 nights at this beautifully restored chateau. The rooms were lovely and comfortable; however, either due to the chickens which roam around the grounds and roost under the chateau and/or because of a nearby horse stable, the flies were horrible. A well-used fly paper strip was hanging above the dining room table all four days (unappetizing to say the... More

Thank you for the review and feedback. We take on board your comments and will try harder on these touches. Just to stay that flies have been a problem in many regions this year due to the weather and are not normally such a problem. If you get a chance - please return and I think you will find us... We had a great stay 4 day here in this lovingly restored medieval chateau. The suite was very large, luxurious and surprisingly cool in the summer heat. The four poster bed and surroundings made us feel like old lords of the manor! Alison and Paul, the owners have managed to preserve the old features while including very welcome 21st century touches... More

We had the Templar Suite which was a huge room renovated beautifully, in keeping with the era. Modern bathroom, sympathetic to the medieval theme. We even had arrow slits in the room! This was the accommodation highlight of our trip through France. Highly recommended. Lovely opening the doors to your room onto the little terrace where you can have breakfast,... More

The Chateau is in the process of being restored ... or perhaps rescued is a better word ... and the work that has been done is wonderful, if a little over the top in spots (we actually loved that feature). Our room (Templar Suite) was beautiful and HUGE and comfortable. Taller people, watch your head going between rooms .. clonking... More

I can only reiterate what other reviewers have written; the B&B Chateau de Bramtourte was a highlight of our recent holiday in France. The chateau has a wonderful view of the surrounding countryside, we were lucky enough to be able to see the far off snow covered peaks of the Pyrenees. The chateau has been lovingly restored and retains the... More

Chateau de Brametourte was one of the highlights of our holiday. Hidden away in an exquisite part of the French countryside, where the tranquillity is disturbed only by the free range chickens, this is a splendid base for exploring Albi, or Toulouse, or to simply relax. From the outside, one might conclude that the building has seen better times. But... More

We stayed here in August 2011 for a week with our three children. Brametourte is a converted castle, beautifully restored. Our rooms were huge and comfortable, with furnishings in keeping with the style of the building, but modern bathrooms. Our hosts were delightful and accommodating and couldn't have been more welcoming. The breakfasts were great, and so were the dinners... More

This has to be the finest B&B we've ever stayed in, wow, wow, wow, 10/10! The website & photographs do not do this amazing chateau justice, every aspect of this property is just wonderful.
