The apartment we stayed was large and well kept,very clean and with all kitchen furnitures.Elena the owner was very friendly and helpful ,surrounding are stunning and the road to the village is like the road to the end of the world.

The place was located in small village of Gjesvaer, which is close to Nordkapp. We rented this apartment for one night and were very happy with it. Gjesvaer is postcard perfect small village and this apartment is very clean and new.
You have to pick up the keys from a seafood restaurant nearby (approx. 500m). There are directions near the entrance. The payment can be made either in cash or via iZettle. We paid with credit card and worked just fine.
There is parking space in front of the building. There is a separate bedroom, living room, bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. Wifi was working fine, there is also a TV and a fireplace in the living room.
As this is an apartment, there is no breakfast, so keep that in mind and either bring food with you or eat at a local restaurant. I didn't see any shops in the village, but we didn't explore that much.

wonderful place, only 25 min from North Cape. Gjesvaer is a small fisher town, not so kown but to discover! Nygard is a really nice fully renovated apartment and very clean. when you book (e.g. from booking.com) you receive an email from the owner. we arrived excited after a long trip the day before so we didn't pay too much attention that we had to check in at the restaurant and have to pay only cash: so were treated like scholars from the owner Ms Elena, everything in a very unfriendly way: customer is king, remember (and we were always polite)?! so the rate is a average between 1 due to customer unfriendly behavior and a 5 for the apartment with kitchen, 2 double rooms, child room, wifi and kitchen.
