Want to experience an authentic Irish welcome? Come and join us with your family in the Bungalow Farmhouse B and B, set on a working beef, sheep and horse farm. It is a great place to stay while visiting Kilkenny. Enjoy great food and real family hospitality in our comfortable house which is set in the beautiful scenic area of Woodsgift close to Freshford and Urlingford, in the beautiful Kilkenny countryside. Kilkenny is famous not only for its historical sites including Kilkenny Castle and St Canice’s Cathedral but also its hurling team. Our location not only allows easy access to Kilkenny City, the medieval capital of Ireland, and Cashel in Tipperary, famous for the Rock of Cashel. It is ideal for touring the sunny South East, Wexford, and Waterford and Wicklow as well. The guesthouse is located just one and a half hours drive from Dublin airport. The farmhouse can be used as a base to explore the west of Ireland, including Connemara, Cork, Kerry, and Galway. We cater for all group and family sizes and we offer weekend breaks at special prices for groups.

Comfy lodging on a working farm with splendid views. Our hostess, Greta, provided delectable breakfasts in the morning, helpful suggestions for daily outings, and intelligent conversation in the evenings. Delightful introduction to Ireland!

,Wonderful experience! Greta was an awesome host, and an excellent cook. I would definitely recommend staying here. I’m an animal lover and she brought out a kitten her husband had rescued for me to cuddle

Me and my friend stayed with Greta and Sean for one night during our roadtrip through Ireland. Absolutely loved it - gorgeous narure around, loads of animals and very clean rooms with comfortable beds. Greta and Sean are really nice and tell great stories and also, Greta's scones are amazing! Will definitely return. BR Miia

We were part of a small group tour of Ireland. Included in the tour was lunch at this farmhouse near Kilkenny. It was a lot more than lunch....it was a feast! Everything delicious, the family was so pleasant and accommodating. The only thing we wished for was more time to explore the farm itself. The time was too short: eat and then get back on the bus. To be clear, we did not stay at the b&b, just had mid-day meal there.

Wonderful experience. This is a working farm with pastoral views out of every window. About 15 minutes from Kilkenny. Greta is an incredible hostess who makes her own homemade bread and jams. Loved staying there.
