Hidden River Cabins provides luxury log cabin pet friendly accommodation, all with own private hot tubs set on a quite private estate on the banks of the River Lyne in Cumbria with beautiful private walks. Had the most amazing wedding weekend at Hidden River House, relaxed informal meal at the Barn and wedding breakfast at the Cafe. Thank you to Tom and team for the excellent food, to the bar staff who looked after us so well and huge thanks to Laura for ensuring the day ran perfectly. The house was comfortable and perfect for all our family and friends to celebrate with a BBQ and hot tub in the garden the day after. Really loved our stay and plan to return and stay in one of the cabins- thank you to all the staff for making our stay so perfect- Jill and Steve

We stayed here for my sons wedding. The venue was stunning. The staff were excellent, attentive and very friendly. The organisation of the wedding and the catering was superb. I would highly recommend this for either a holiday or a special occasion / wedding.

Yes - lovely cabins Yes - lovely scenery But - we came for Christmas. With all the tv , games, communications & jollity....... No WiFi meant 2 of our party didn’t get to us. Our Christmas messages didn’t get swapped , missed loads of tv & phone games didn’t work. Barn closed , no food available, no communication available, some safety issues.. apparently they’re getting quotes . 1 hair dryer for 8 people Towels poor quality & more like flannels Only hanging space in 2 rooms No coat hooks or bathroom hooks for hanging anything. Dangerous drop off back of cabin decking. Needs fencing. Post & rail doesn’t contain dogs or small children - needs meshing. Staff we met (3) were all lovely but felt a bit ‘ on our own’. Public WiFi meant a trip out in the car & hovering on the cafe decking if it was closed. Luxury environment & price with some important basics missing. 2 weddings catered for & Christmas dinner but nothing else. Disappointed.

Fabulous place !! Great for family time away. Large cabin with log burner, 2 King size beds and double sofa bed. Has tv in living area and both bedrooms, dvd player, dishwasher and hot tub with river views. Restaurant food was lovely. Highly recommend. Well worth the money.
