I arrived very early for check in - actually during breakfast - the owners couldn't have been more lovely - they got me a coffee, showed my where to park my bike and kept my bag safe until my room was ready so I could go off surfing. The room itself was immaculate, with the most beautiful views of the...

We were in Devon for a family wedding and stayed two nights at the Yeoldon House. It is located t the bottom of a lane, above the river Torridge. The hotel gardens are beautifully laid out on a sunny slope - just the spot for tea or something a little stronger. We had a pair of superior rooms I'll admit,...

My husband chose this hotel based on the positive trip advisor reviews, as well as its location for exploring Devon and Cornwall and he certainly chose well! We stayed for 5 nights in this lovely hotel. We were met on arrival by Ilona, the owner of Yeoldon House and invited to sit in the lounge for a welcome pot of...

The hotel is set in lovely grounds overlooking the River Torridge. We stayed for a week and were made very welcome by John and Elona. Lovely breakfasts. You should be aware that the hotel does not serve evening meals but there are many places to eat in the surrounding area.

We stayed here for one night and put in the top floor room - room 10. It has a small roof terrace and incredible views over the estuary, couldn't have asked for a better room in the whole hotel! The house is steeped in history and the owners are very warm and welcoming. Perfect for a weekend away!

I spent 4 nights here and could easily have spent longer. The hotel is located at the end of a private road and sits on the coastal pathway that runs along the River Torridge. I stayed in The Lady Dawe room complete with 4 poster bed and great views of the hotel gardens and surrounding countryside. The owners and staff...

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with the best welcome, from the lovely owners. The garden is stunning and the hotel offers lovely views over the estuary, even better when we reached our room to find out it had that same view. The room and, indeed, the whole hotel has great character, is spotlessly clean and there is...
