Fortunate enough to have stayed in the Summer and this time on a lovely crisp Winters evening. The Hotel's a beautiful building in a stunning setting with views from miles over the countryside and on a sunny frosty morning it's amazing. Staff excellent as always, nothing's too much trouble. Dinner was delicious, all of it ! Breakfast cooked to order,...

This is a beautiful hotel. It is an old English style manner house and keeps it looks and feel. The view in the morning is stunning. Breakfast was great and offer everything I could want and I am fussy.

Stayed here for one night on a business trip with my dog in tow. The room was clean and tidy, and the bed comfortable. All the staff were brilliant and made both myself and my dog very very welcome, would defiantly stay again.

A nice little hotel, slightly dated around the seams but an enjoyable time spent there, a good meal and friendly bar, spectacular views from the hotel and from the resteraunt, would recomend and visit again

Stayed there on a one night break with breakfast and dinner. The hotel is really out in the country with views over the surrounding countryside. Staff were very helpful and polite. Asked for a room with a view and were given room 25, and in the morning we were able to admire the Devon countryside with cows as well. Our...

Amazing setting especially if you want total peace & quiet. The hotel has amazing views of the countryside and over the hills. The hotel itself is missing something though, the furnishings are quite 1970's and not particularly atmospheric or in keeping with the age of the building. Lacks old pictures on the walls, some very odd pictures in the corridors...

We were lucky enough to be invited to a wedding at this hotel. I've got to say we were really impressed. The staff were welcoming and friendly. The room were nice and clean. My husband wanted to take the bed home with us, shame it wouldn't fit in the car!! The staff were very attentive especially during the wedding and...

We stayed here on 29th and 30th October for a family wedding. The hotel is lovely in beautiful surroundings. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfasts are delicious. The rooms (we had two, one for three people and one for two) were spacious, beautifully decorated and very comfy beds. The bathrooms were modern and spotless. I wouldn't hesitate...

Don't trust an old sat-nav when you are looking for this hotel or you could find yourself going down some very narrow cart tracks. Once you arrive the place is lovely, with friendly staff who are keen to tell you about the history of the building. The room that we had was clean and comfortable. The food was excellent with...
