Firstly, can't say how good or bad the food is, because our visit didn't stretch to completing the purpose of eating there! Apart from a 'manager' (of sorts), the whole place appears to be staffed by eastern Europeans. Now, nationality of those working there is NOT the point of this, but it has to be acknowledged that the reason the...

Thanks for this, as I said on the day we had been caught short due to the weather being significantly better than expected (forecast was rain) and as a consequence we did have a delay on our food, we tried to make our customers aware of the delay as soon as we could. As I also said on the day...

My wife and I stayed here whilst we walked the Cotswold Way. The walk we made to the hotel was from Winchcombe and the weather had NOT cooperated with us, so we spent a very long time walking the hills in terrible wind and rain. So when we arrived at the hotel we were very happy to sit down and...

Firstly, this hotel should come with a warning that it is unsuitable for anybody with mobility problems. Plenty of stairs, no lifts. Having said that the Hotel has an incredible view high above Cheltanhem, the building is warm clean and welcoming, as was all the staff. The dinners and breakfast where wholesome and overall our stay was a good experience.

Follow our walk over Cleeve Hill we often pop into the rising Sun, the food is fantastic, great service and magnificent views across Gloucestershire and Worcestershire. If you are thinking of taking the family for tea one evening this time of year watch the fantastic autumnal sunsets over Malvern

Stayed for 4 nights and ideally placed for touring the area. Good parking and views from the front of the hotel. Food was well prepared and with a good selection even for those with small appetities. Service at breakfast was not fast and if you like marmalde on your toast take your own, they had none in the 4 mornings...

Reasonable hotel. Clean, but some rooms clearly much bigger than others in the same category. Helpful when we had a problem with our room and moved us to another, which was much more spacious. Restaurant standard pub food, excellent breakfasts, large car park, good location, staff helpful. Could do with a little renovation, double-glazing, etc.

Thank you for your feedback, due to the age of the building our room sizes and shapes certainly do vary a little, but it is nice to hear your problem was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Simon Jones

This was the second time we'd eaten here having found it by search engine in an area we wanted offering reasonable prices. We enjoyed it again, finding it nicely busy at 4.30pm on a Sunday. There's a full menu even on Sunday's, which is more than most places and there's plenty of choice. My sirloin steak was ok but the...

We had a fantastic lunch in the hotels restaurant, the food was of a very high quality and was served by pleasant staff who although very busy delivered a relaxed manner. The dishes were very reasonable from my cod and beer batter fish with triple cooked chips served with mushy peas and home made tarter sauce my partner ordered lamb...

What a great location. Nice room with very comfortable beds. The views are spectacular and where enjoyed from our room and the lovely gardens. The staff are really nice and we felt very looked after. We hope that the young lady who burnt her arm is recovering well, she is a smashing girl. We had our son, daughter and boyfriend...

Room with a fantastic view. A lovely spacious bedroom with high ceiling, most comfortable bed, good en-suite all spotlessly clean. The food both at breakfast, lunch time, and evening was all good served by friendly staff. would not hesitate to return again.
