After 1.5 week of traveling Bali, Nusa and Gili, we finished our trip on Lombok in Cocotinos. This is the perfect closure of our wonderful trip. Cocotinos is perfect for people who like to relax and be closed off from the world for a bit.
The room (cottage) is exactly as shown on the picture, very spacious and neat. It's very clean and has everything to offer a great stay. (Dont have a picture, only video, but believe the pictures. It's all true). We loved the inside and outside shower and the cottage feeling it offers.
The resort is indeed far away from restaurants but they offer great food so you don't even have to leave the resort.
Also there's a lot to do when you are done with hanging and chilling at the delightful pool (so nice and great temperature). We did a snorkeling trip around the 3 islands and we even got picked up from the shore of the hotel. We would definitely recommend to do this!
We stayed here 3 nights but it could easily be a whole week. We loved the atmosphere, the cottage, the food, the incredible nice people working here, the pool and the view we had every morning and evening.
I would 100% recommend when going to Lombok to stay here and fully relax and enjoy all the wonderful things it has to offer. We even preferred this location over Gili Meno..
10/10 and we will definitely come again.

This is a beautiful resort, however it is in the middle of nowhere and closes early. If you are looking for total relaxation, a secluded beach to yourself and to be tucked up in bed by 9pm then this is the place to come as it is so peaceful and beautiful.
We stayed for 3 nights as part of a 14 day island hopping tour but we prefer more life. There were only about 4 other rooms of people staying and on our first night we went for dinner at 7pm. By 8.15pm we were the only ones left. by 8.30pm with breakfast set up around us is was clear it was time to go, so at we found ourselves back in our room drinking water when we are usually going out at that time!
We went on a pre-arranged tour the next day and bought some drinks and snacks at a shop for the following night. The staff on the second two nights were much friendlier and the restaurant was open a bit later but still closed by about 9.15pm. The staff were really friendly but without many other guests it just lacked any kind of atmosphere or life. Hopefully as it gets busier it will feel much and stay open later as it deserves to be fully booked as the facilities and beach are wonderful.

Please note that I did not stay here but merely staying for a day trip.
Anyway great beachside area, snorkeling or SUP is the best option. The turquois, crystal clear water, lots of fish (actually lots and lots of fish), colourful corals, beautiful view. So many to describe and u can easily spend your days here daydreaming and reminiscing.
Also you can travel to the 3 gilis of Gili Sudak, Tangkong and Gili Nanggu, or the smaller Gili Kedis nearby. An absolute gem; pristine beach, great snorkeling site, all the beach just for you and your love ones.
Coming back to Cocotinos, lunch and the food is that much nicer.

We got one of the beachside rooms with a private pool which was gorgeous. Huge bathroom with bathtub, indoor and outdoor shower. Comfortable bed, good air conditioning. The balcony is very relaxing with a daybed big enough for 2, sun loungers and a cute little pool.
The only area for improvement would be the food. The menu advertises a “traditional slow-cooked beef rendang”. It was so chewy there’s absolutely no way it was slow cooked and the sauce was bland and watery.
The staff are really friendly and thanks to the relaxed atmosphere I would definitely stay again.

Well located on the edge of a pretty clean beach, the rooms are correct but do not stand out in any way due to their style (dark woodwork, and classic Balinese hotel furniture from 10 or 15 years ago). The park is quite pleasant and well-kept, but the surroundings of the swimming pool are neglected and lack care. We were very disappointed by the restaurant which offers almost no vegetarian dishes, and whose quality is really mediocre. The breakfast was OK with a waiter who stood out from this sad hotel for his humor!

This is indeed the best resort I have ever stayed in. Their sea beach and the mountains are very beautiful. You can relax by the sea beach and mountains and enjoy the sunset. You can enjoy mocktails while enjoying the sea beach and mountains from the restaurant. Their breakfast is excellent and their staff are very friendly. The room is very comfortable and the room has both outdoor and indoor shower. If you want some peace and enjoy some moments by the sea and mountains and want to stay away from the hassle and bustle, this must be your best choice. Hopefully, I will return again to this beautiful resort one day.

Lovely Gardens and Location. Rooms very spacious clean and comfortable in beautiful gardens. Nice beach with snorkelling good once you swim passed sea grass. Very good Dive Centre that do boat trips, diving equipment was excellent as was boat and guide. Food was good. Hotel is isolated so a nice quite relaxing resort. Pool needs a refurbished, clean and overlooks beach just needs updating (Perfect spot for infinity pool)

Nice, secluded location with great sea views to Gili Nanggu. Very helpful and friendly staff. Good stretch of own beach and extra benefit of own jetty for direct access to boat trips. Great to have a small dive shop on the resort itself. The crew of the dive shop is fantastic also. The resort was almost empty and we had the place virtually for ourselves. Despite that the owner made sure everything was available to us. Nice beach villas and general areas. Lack of maintenance is somewhat visible, but understandable due to long absence of visitors. Wifi is poor and that is probably the main complaint (not a very big one though….😁)

It is true we did not have so many guests at the resort, 2022 is a year of recovery for Lombok tourism along with strict inspections for every guest entering certain areas in Indonesia which must be supported by travel documents such as health certificates and booster vaccines, also not many airlines have returned to operation on a fixed schedule. For hotels, actually we have started to make minor repairs and also routine maintenance . The umbrellas roof looks like needs to be replaced, especially the thatch roof which looks crumpled due to high rainfall. Although the hotel is really quite nice I am beyond staggered at the mainly meat menu. Given that there are no other places to eat in the area. We do not eat meat but if you were vegan you would significantly struggle as they simply do not cater for you. In desperation we ask them to give make a vegetable curry ( rather than the chicken one) only to find they simply added vegetable and tofu and there was still some chicken that they had clearly not fished out!!!! I am mortified. If you are not a meat eater this place is seriously not for you.

Dear AnnieS1539, We refer to your comments on TripAdvisor and would like to clarify the issue that made you feel uncomfortable while having dinner at our restaurant. First regarding the vegetable curry which you believe contains chicken/poultry, we have to clarify again that the curry you are ordering consists of vegetables, tofu and tempeh or fermented soybeen and this is a vegetarian food that is commonly ordered by other vegetarian guests. However you convinced to yourself the curry contains chicken/poultry, the staff has repeatedly explained that tempeh is not chicken and your partner also helps explain, but your prefer to replace it with french fries and we immediately served it as compensation. Please note that our staff understands between vegetarian and non-vegetarian food. So far there has never been complaints from our guests. We follow to the wishes of the guests including the use of certain spices. Yes you can, just for fun - for small fish. If you want the bigger fish you will have to go out with one of the fishermen from the village nearby. There are 13 small islands {gilis} in the Sekotong Bay and you will have a great time. We do island hopping, snorkelling and diving using our own fibreglass boats, but we ourselves do not do fishing trips. Hope to see you in this beautiful location of ours.
