It's a place which it's lovely at the moment you enter in the property when you see the chateau at the end of the path. The staff is so lovely and pamper you. It's a place to relax and to enjoy simply staying on it....More
We’ve visited a handful of amazing owner-operated properties in our travels, and La Thuilière easily rises to the top of the list.

Great classic house with a modrn touch in the style of the rooms. Quiet and in the middle of niwhere but with so much to see around. Within One hour driving you have the Castles, abbeys ,local markets, wine cellars of Saint Emilion, Pomerol, Bergerac.......More
We stayed for two nights in the castle. Everything was perfect. The atmosphere was cosy, the owners/hosts were very kind and supporting and the food was delicious. The building itself is spectacular, as are the gardens.

Thanks for your message... I think the guys who own the chateau have bicycles you can rent. Its a short distance to the village, , though its quite a sleepy village. There is a bit more to see and do in Mussidan, which is a 4km away. The grounds are really lovely and there is a good pool, so great just to hang about there. There is a good train line going through Mussidan which takes one direct to Bordeaux or Perigueux both of which are worth a visit. I think you'll be fine in June... generally April to October, is really nice weather. Have fun Andrew
