This is what renting a private villa is all about, privacy with stunning ocean views. Villa Nambung was recommended to me by a friend as the perfect place to relax and get away from everything and it did not disappoint. The sound of the ocean rolling in as you sit on the deck having a beer while the chef cooks you a fantastic rendang, just paradise. My family and I stayed here in June and shared so many good moments together in this retreat. When we need our batteries recharged we will be back. Paradise is definitely found.

This gem is off the beaten path in the south of Lombok and has an amazing view of the beach. We were there with another family and found it quite spacious (five bedrooms with ensuite bath) and comfortable... a little too comfortable! The sea breeze, infinity pool, and comfy chairs made me want to read my book rather than go to the beach or explore the area. The WiFi is reasonable and there is a TV lounge with comfy couch and huge flat screen and DVD player (limited selection of DVDs, so bring one if you have a movie in mind). In some ways, this is the perfect couch potato holiday home. The meals were amazing as well. I will say there are some "nice to know" things a future traveler should prepare in advance to make it truly memorable -- these are not complaints, just travel tips. The house has no A/C, so there are a few times of the day that the air gets still and humid that you might find unbearable (go jump in the pool), but open the doors and windows and run the ceiling fans and you stay plenty cool. There can be a lot of bugs at night -- so bring your own bug spray or coils. For the most part the breeze and large geckos keep the bugs in check, though. The secluded location can make transport and dining a challenge, but the owner is very accommodating and you with some advance planning with the villa owner you can make food and transport plans to suit your needs.…

We're a family of four with two young children and found Villa Nambung ideal. The villa itself is very roomy with an easily accessible pool that was very hard to get the children out of. Absolutely spectacular views over the bay and beyond. We loved exploring nearby Nambung beach with all of the locals very welcoming. Ditto the grounds around the villa itself, the kids spending hours foraging for mangoes and papayas. The staff at the villa were just great and the food all we could ask for. We had no earthquake-related problems at all with all of the infrastructure in good order. I couldn't recommend the place more highly.

I stayed with friends here in February and it was beyond our expectations. We were greeted by the friendly and knowledgable driver on arrival at the airport and enjoyed a relaxed drive south to the Villa. Its nestled back on the hillside and as we approached the entrance we all had a sense the holiday was about to kick off. We arrived by 5pm and caught an amazing sunset from the entrance all the way down to the infinity pool overlooking an empty white sand beach and miles or coastline to the headland. The staff couldnt be more helpful and organised a BBQ and drinks and left us feeling welcomed in every way everyday of our stay. From every angle of this magnificent spacious 2 storey property the ocean is in full view and even better still, there are no overcrowded skylines as there are in Bali. There is simply no one around and thats the holiday we were looking for after years in overcrowded Bali. We explored the beaches and coastline and took small boats organised by the villa staff with the local village. The villa is fully equipped and wifi enabled, but it became clear none of us wanted anything to do with the outside world once we were at Villa Nambung. Having grown up on the beach its taken 30 plus years to find that childlike feeling of open space and we have missed Villa Nambung ever since. Amazing dining table for groups of friends, furniture well decorated and had a great down to earth beachhouse luxury feeling, first class and somewhere we hope to stay again in the future. This property is for anyone wanting an amazing holiday away from all the hype. #takemeback…

Everything is so wonderful here in Villa Nambung, the chef, staff, and the driver. The pool and the view are fabolous, worlds only cannot describe our staying experience in Villa Nambung. We really love it and hope we can comeback to stay here again soon.

The best villa in South Lombok only 30 minutes from the airport, great food, service and the best pool in Indonesia. Beaches very close, nice and peaceful with great sunset. Definitely recommend to family and friends, the price was cheap and the value amazing.
