Great campsite . My favorite of the ones we visited in Northern Spain and Portugal . Staff is friendly , showers and toilets are clean . We went birdwatching with the owner which was great. Saw great bustards and bee eaters. Would definitely stay here again . Even the call of the scops owl at night is charming

We stayed here for two days, weather was very hot, owner, Roberto, was very friendly and helped with any query. We had the lamb roasted in a wood oven it was fantastic! Walked into Casterjeriz, found the square with little shops the grocery store was wonderful it reminded us of how things used to be in the 50's, she stocked...

Stayed in the house in the grounds of this camp site and didn't feel it quite measured up. We were under the impression we were booking rooms with en suite but didn't get this. The worst part was that I was woken at midnight by someone banging on the door and shouting at us in Spanish. Eventually I managed to...

We were driving across Spain and found this campsite, wich includes a house where you can rent any of three rooms (upstairs) and have use of the lounge - with roaring fire - downstairs. It was raining on the day we visited, so really a no-brainer to go for one of the rooms! There is also a cafe/restaurant/bar so everything...

Walking the 800km with my son to celebrate my 50th birthday which will occur during the walk. 2 weeks into Camino, having a great time, the country side, people & food. If you have the time about 5 weeks, do it.

For only 36 Euros we had a chalet, which was spotless, with 2 bedrooms, a lounge and bathroom. The view is beautiful and there is a seating area withtable and chairs in front. Lovely chalet with good shower and aircon. We wished we could have stayed longer. The owner is from Barcelona and knows lots about Spain, including Asturias and...

This is a quality Campsite which caters for Camino people as well. we were driven the 100m to our cabin/bungalow which was fully equipped, spotless and away from the main camp reception. The family who run this were amazing and made sure we were fed and watered. They had a special menu the night we were there which although a...

This review seems an utter fabrication. The owners of the camping can't do enough to help everyone. Their English might not be perfect but we manage perfectly well without speaking the language. I can only think that the reviewer got his locations muddled or perhaps he or she is muddled!

Your could hardly call it camping. The cabin I shared with 2 others was very pleasant. It was out of the way but at least we were not disturbed by noisy campers. The cabin was clean, warm & adequate for our needs.

The owners father is the "taxi service" for the town and took us to a bus stop that he charged us $50 to get to.One of us on the camino sprained their ankle so we thought we'd take a bus for a day to give the ankle a rest 200 miles into the walk and 300 more to go. The...
