Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

A friendly welcome from David who showed us into our teepee. We were given our tokens for the showers (1 token a 5minute shower) the heating was on inside which was a nice touch.
We loved this stay!
Parking right next to our abode for the night, so thats easy!
The styling was perfect. The bed comfortable. The shared amenities clean. And the location ideal.
A fun night of glamping was enjoyed!

Super location. A few minutes walk from traditional pubs, takeaways, etc. The site itself is beautifully maintained. There are communal toilets and showers with lots of hot water. There are washing and drying machines. A really big communal kitchen / dining area where you can meet and chat with fellow travellers. There are great facilities for motor homes and tenters. The big glamping tents are so cosy and comfortable and spacious enough for 5 people. All in all glamping in Doolin Glamping is very very good value for money, in an ideal location, with the friendliest and most helpful staff you will find anywhere. The staff, the atmosphere and the value for money all combine to genuinely rekindle hope for Irish traditional hospitality.

We stayed in doolin glamping last night. A double and 2 single beds were set up for us and a fantastic electric fire kept us very cosy. Toilet/shower room was spotlessly clean ,there was a kitchen area but we didn't go in as we were attending a wedding at hotel doolin a short stroll from the site. The 2 seater couch was a great bonus to have too to sit and relax and electricity to charge the phones. This has been one of the best glamping sites we have stayed at and its great value for money too. We will most certainly be back.

We've stayed in O'Connors as campers, glampers and now caravanners. Staff are all legends, absolutely the friendliest, most welcoming people possible. Facilities are always spotless, the various tents, yurts and tiny caravans are quirky, comfortable and have everything you need. We try to get there whenever we can and you should too.

I stayed here with my mum for one night and it was a really cosy tent that we stayed in. It was lovely and clean and really warm and the people are really friendly that welcomed us. It was a lovely experience for a first time glamping. Just remember you need to be prepared to not need to use the toilet at night or at least walk to the toilet in the middle of the night. It’s really central to every pub restaurant hotel and I would highly recommend staying here it was also very reasonable.

We had the best time staying here, the yurts and tents were amazing! Lovely location and fab set up, would give it 5 stars only for the imposed noise limit. Unfortunately nothing on their website about noise, in fact on their website they mention catering for hen/stag parties, so we were shocked on the day before check in to be told €25 deposit would be taken from each member (there was 11 of us) and would be given back if we kept quiet after 11pm. Not that we intended to party all night but we would have liked to know this info before booking a girls get away.. The owner Dave came to our tent on numerous occasions to tell us to be quiet, we weren’t listening to music, shouting, nothing raucous.. we were legitimately sitting inside our yurt (which is the tent furthest situated from the campsite) after numerous intrusions by Dave we gave up and went to sleep. We understood the need to keep the campsite quiet but the next day other campers told us that the only noise they heard was from Dave arguing with us about the noise. The whole thing seemed a bit irrational, we felt it put a damper on the experience and for that reason alone not a single one of us would recommend staying here again, unless you come for a family holiday! In that case it would be lovely, it’s a shame to say we had a bad experience but couldn’t fault it otherwise!

We stayed for my birthday in August 2019. My partner and I booked the Indian tipee for the night. We loved it!! A double bed, chairs, a heater, wooden bench right next to the tent to sit and have a few drinks and it is located right next to the river. Loved sleeping at night listening to the water flowing. So so relaxing. Directly across from the pubs so we were able to do a pub crawl and walk back to our tent. The owner was very accomodating. Facilities on site spotless. Very reasonable for a different kind of staycation in Ireland even though the weather wasn't great ( typical Irish weather) we still had a ball! We can't wait to return. Thanks again from Catriona & Michael in Cork

Really enjoyed our stay here kids thought it was a great adventure. Everything was so clean. We will definitely be back to stay again. It’s walking distance to the village. Next time I will bring a little plug in cooler box to keep a few snacks for the kids especially breakfast options. Ear plugs were provided for our stay as it was very windy the first night unfortunately we couldn’t use them as we were staying with kids. They slept straight through

We booked the glamping at Doolin to extend our staycation a bit longer. We arrived and we amazed at the size of the site. We felt very safe in these Covid-19 times and social distancing was all being well observed. On checking in we were brought to our tent, and shown around. To say it was big is an understatement. We had 2 double beds, single bed, cot, electric fire, 2 dressers, 2 lockers and a sofa in the tent and still had room to move about comfortably. We used the site as our base for a couple of days visiting the Burren, cliffs of Moher and other spots all located fairly close. Even took a trip to father teds house. Definitely would recommend and hope to return. My only problem was the free WiFi was obviously overwhelmed by large number of users as it would connect for us but wouldn’t load any websites of open and social media.

Hi Patrick, Thank you for our stay with us. Apologies for the Wifi, we have had problems with it this summer for a number of reasons. Very soon we will be updating our broadband network to rectify the problems we have had with it during busy times. Many thanks again, Dave

Doolin glamping is right in the centre! Everything in the village is within a 5 minute walk of the campsite. It is also only a short drive from the Cliffs of Moher. You could even hike to the cliffs along the coast from Doolin Glamping.

I haven't stayed there in October but, personally, wouldn't hesitate to do it. Each tent has its own little stove/heater which heats the tent quite quickly. I've also gone glamping elsewhere in Autumn and I found that part of the fun was snuggling under the blankets with woolly socks on etc! It's very cosy!
