We enjoyed the opportunity to stay in a very new, two-bedroom apartment with lots of pillows at this B&B. We were able to park right outside the door to the unit. The presence of a full kitchen allowed us to buy some groceries so we could pack a lunch and have dinner on our own. Martin did a nice job with the breakfasts and with advice on the ferry to Inishmore.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Cahermaclanchy House. The room had everything we needed and was quiet. Martin is an outstanding host. He is easy to get a hold of and cooks an Irish breakfast or pancakes for his guests. We had the pancakes both mornings and they were delicious! Cereals, nuts, fruit, toast, jams, juices and so on are also plentiful. The location was great as the Cliffs of Moher and a ferry to the Aran Islands is close by. Places to eat in Doolin are just a few minutes away by car. We will definitely stay here again if we are ever in Ireland. Highly recommend.

Loved everything about this place. Decor is lovely. Place was spotlessly clean. Everything was to a high standard. Nice little touches including tea, coffee and biscuits. Breakfast was very fresh with loads of choice and unlimited cold and hot drinks. We will definitely return!

We booked an apartment. You really need a car to get there as it's just a few minutes drive from town center. You can park right in front of the apartment which was really clean and looked very new. The kitchen is well equipped. Our host Martin very forthcoming and helpful.
Breakfast is in the main building. As the bfast room is smallish you need to book a time slot the night before. You have the choice between some fluffy pancakes with fruits or Irish cooked bfast. As well as cereals, bread, toasts...
It's worth staying there if you are visiting the Burren/Doolin/caves.

We booked the self-contained apartment at this B&B and were delighted with it. We were 2 adults and 2 children and the apartment had 2 double beds and a separate living room / kitchen, and spacious shower room. Everything was very clean and Covid compliant. Plenty of parking in their private yard. Martin was extremely helpful and friendly, with recommendations locally, and helping us to get a dinner reservation over the bank holiday weekend. Lovely breakfast. We were delighted with our choice. Would definitely recommend.

Clean, comfortable and just outside the quaint town of Doolin. The property had great views and Martin was welcoming and happy to share recommendations of local sites, shops and pubs. Rooms had lots of space and the continental breakfast has many food items to choose from. No wonder this place has so many good write ups, they are well deserved.

We generally stay in chain hotels, so booking lodging in Doolin was a bit out of my comfort zone since larger hotels just aren't a thing there. My limited prior experience with bed and breakfasts has been that they aren't family friendly, so I was pleased to find that Cahermaclanchy House had a larger space that accommodated our family of four. The setting is stunning -- the rural setting, farm animals not too far off, and distant views of the sea made this stay quite unique. Our small apartment was set up well and was extremely clean. It was a great jumping off point for seeing the Cliffs of Moher and doing dinner at McDermott's Pub. The breakfast the following morning was very pleasant. If we make it back to Doolin (and I hope we do, since we didn't have enough time to see everything we wanted to see) we would definitely return here.

The breakfast menu is restricted owing to Covid but the omelettes we ordered were perfectly cooked.
Located about 2k outside Doolin so within walking distance if you feel like stretching the legs.

Excellent room. Everything was brand new and extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable and the toilet was very spacious. The property owner greeted us on arrival and gave us valuable suggestions to visit the region. Fantastic breakfast (specifically the omelet ...). High;y recommended.

Very new house, which seems to have been built only to accommodate travelers. Family stay in a "neighborhood" of the house, which had a separate bedroom for my son. Very pleasant property owner. Hearty breakfast. My son loved homemade pancakes.

I do not remember if pets were allowed. I didn't see any guests with pets, but I did not see a sign saying "no pets" either, so unfortunately I am not sure.
Hello Kara,
We are 2.2km from the beginning of Doolin village. The village itself is approx 2 kms long. However there are no footpaths down to the village so it is walkable but I don't recommend it at night.
I hope this helps!
Patricia.
Hi,
Thanks for your inquiry. We are 2 kms from the start of Doolin village (McDermott's pub). The distance is fine but the road is not great for walking by night as there is no footpath or lighting!
There is a local taxi that runs during the summer which we could call for you.
Hope this helps!
Best wishes,
Patricia
