Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The house was lovely and the owner was so friendly. The bedrooms were clean and beautifully decorated. The food was well cooked and plentiful and the view from the dining room was good. We will definitely be returning in the future. I highly recommend this B&B.

Quiet, clean. A bit Spartan but still quite comfortable. Very welcoming hostess who gave us useful information on the area. Nice that it was a 2-minute walk down the hill to a very accommodating pub. Good breakfast, large parking area outside. Note: good to have your own personal items, shampoo, washcloth, etc. as the bathroom is not a ‘luxury’ one. Note 2: as a courtesy, there are vests with illuminating stripes in the hall - these are for folks to use when they walk down and back to that pub: it can be quite dark and difficult for drivers to see you. That was a nice touch (even though I felt silly wearing the vest … it definitely made our walk safer!).

We absolutely loved staying at Seascape. Mary Jo was so welcoming and a wealth of information on the area and what to do. The location is ideal as it is a short walk into town (we walked everywhere) and a very short walk to McGann’s amazing pub, yet is nice and quiet and relaxing at the house. With a stunning view of the countryside, it was nice to come back in the afternoon and relax in the lounge with a glass of wine and plan our next days adventure. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and set us up for the day. The rooms were clean and extremely comfortable. Thank you Mary Jo for making our first time stay in Doolin such a memorable one. Hopefully we will be back in a few years time.

We stayed overnight at Seascape during our long drive from Dingle to Galway via the Cliffs of Moher. The B&B is a 10 min drive from the Cliffs, we arrived late, after 7 pm. Mary Jo suggested McGanns for dinner as having a better choice for vegetarians, a 5 min walk from the B&B. Our room was good and the breakfast terrific with lovely views of the country side. Mary Jo recommended that we take the coastal road to Galway via the Burren, an unforgettable experience. Seascape was a good relaxing stopover.

Mary Jo is a wonderful host. She graciously let us check in earlier than planned so we could rest off our jet lag. Our room was clean and comfortable. We had our first Irish breakfast here and it was great -- lots of choices and so pleasantly served by Eileen! We selected this B&B so that we could walk to a restaurant and to listen to music at night, and it was perfect for that -- just a 5 minute walk. Mary Jo was also so obliging and helpful with touring suggestions both in emails and in person. Very happy that we chose this for our first night in Ireland!

Thank you, Mary Jo. You have a wonderful B & B - clean, quiet, great location, great view, and great breakfasts. In fact, the breakfasts carried us through lunch when we were too busy to stop. And thank you for your hospitality and all your help, including saving us the trouble of replacing our son's hiking boots by phoning ahead to Mr. Burke to tell us the boots were left behind. That saved us a ton of fretting and shopping for new boots. You made our trip special and it was wonderful to get to meet you.

We stopped for one night in Doolin at the Seascape and Mary Jo welcomed us in as though we were family. Rooms were clean and comfortable, breakfast was delish, and Mary Jo was extremely helpful with recommendations for dinner and drinks! I would definitely come back!

Mary Jo, our host, warmly welcomed us to this wonderful little B&B. Clean, comfortable and well located to experience the rural settings of west coast Ireland. Only a short walk to a few pubs with great food and even more amazing live music. The scenery is spectacular. Breakfast in the morning was excellent.

Comfortable, clean, quiet, great breakfast, wonderful hostess, Mary Jo. We stayed here for two nights and had a great night's sleep, away from the noise and hubbub of the center of the village, but not isolated. The location overlooks beautiful green fields in all directions, dotted with cottages and pubs. Only a short walk to a great pub (McDermott's; see review) and picturesque photo ops. If you're up for a longer hike, this is also a good base of operations. Mary Jo is friendly and helpful, very informative about the area, directions, and things to do.
