Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Really nice, clean and pleasant rooms. It was a close walk to downtown and a good place to stay, even with a lot closed up for the winter. Owner was kind and thoughtful and gave us some good advice for the area.

My friends and I stayed for one night while visiting Doolin. All five of us had nothing but positive things to say about our stay. Great location, very clean, comfortable and welcoming. Jimmy and Lorraine were lovely and the breakfast was top notch.

A little gem, fabulous owners, gorgeous room so clean and tidy, super location for walking to places nearby. We will definitely return to have the chats with Jimmy and Lorraine, could not recommend this super little find any more highly.

Had a lovely three nights with our family in Nellie Dee’s. Received a warm welcome from Jimmy & Loraine. Rooms were perfectly clean. Breakfast was very good. Short walk to the nearest pubs & restaurants. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

The room itself was a typical B&B. Small, but everything you need. Not exactly soundproof, but that's typical of older homes. Bed was very comfortable. Great location near pubs and restaurants...although the town is very small, so most things are nearby. Very friendly and kind host. The gem of it all was the breakfast view (and the breakfast itself was great). I was a beautiful day, sat drinking coffee with a gorgeous view and the Cliffs of Moher in the distance. Stunning. Overall, I had a great stay. Would recommend.

We had a nice two night stay at Nellie Dees when we were there in August. The bed was comfortable, the place very clean, breakfast was great, and it was in good location. Lorraine was nice enough to drop us off at the ferry so we didn't have to worry about getting there with our bags. I definitely recommend staying here.

Lovely proprietors Fantastic breakfast and nice hot shower. Room for 9 people and they were accommodating for one extra. Close to McGanns and McDermotts and walking distance to town and close to Cliffs of Moher.

Jimmy, our host was very gracious and helpful, giving us recommendations for local restaurants. Room was clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and the view from the breakfast room overlooked the Cliffs of Moher and surrounding town of Doolin. So peaceful, hope to return again.

Drove directly to the Cliffs of Moher from Westport on 19May and arrived at Neelie Dee's in the late afternoon. Our room was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. Jimmy and Loraine are terrific hosts! It was a short walk into town for dinner at a local pub, and we really appreciated the reflective vests for our return trip at night. Breakfast in the morning was delicious! Just wish we could have stayed longer!!
