Lodge Doolin was a nice new construction and clean set of buildings. Felt like Half inn half hostel half residences. Few guests when we were there. Room was moderate size and basic (except bathroom floor was heated!). Clean and comfortable. Common area had full kitchen and seating for social. Large parking lot and easy to walk to both village areas...

Positives during our stay: Location in Doolin is good, walking distance to pubs and restaurants. Breakfast menu was good. Negatives: No warm welcome on arrival. Very pricey for basic rooms. Wouldn't stay here again.

I wish there were more stars! The entire staff is extremely nice and very helpful, and the room was spotless. Breakfast is a must! There's a fantastic pub and some nice shops down the road, and the locals are absolutely lovely! I will definitely be coming back and staying here!

The only problem in this hotel is that one great man at the breakfast was serving us then cooking breakfast which wasn't so good and then we seen him fixing something in the rooms such...

We stayed here 1 night while back in Doolin for a second time in 2 weeks to hear great traditional Irish music at McDermott's Pub. This place was clean and seemed fairly new- the only drawback was the complete lack of hot water. We asked for it to be turned on, but that did not happen until we were packed...

The Lodge was faultless - clean, comfortable and ridiculously friendly. Deirdre and Niall were the perfect hosts - full of great advice and travel tips,...

Pros: Comfy beds, close to pubs and quaint shops, clean, short drive to Cliffs of Moher Cons: Regulated heat temperature (we got too hot but were told the temp was automatic), wifi only worked outside near the reception building Overall a nice stay.

Dear Shannon W, Thank you for your review, we are happy to hear that you had a nice stay with us and enjoyed our lovely village. The temperature in the apartments is controlled by the thermostats on the wall, the heat comes on/off automatically according to the temperature at which the thermostat is set. Perfect place to base yourself for exploring the West of Ireland. Easy drive to The Burren and ferry service to the Aran Islands. It's also an easy walk to the great music pubs, and an easy stagger home. They have inexpensive laundry service and a good breakfast. The staff are great!

The Lodge was our salvation after an unhappy experience at the Pier in Doolin. A young helpful man welcomed us, five seniors, and checked us with efficiency and warmth. We had a a large suite (kitchen, sitting area, 4 bedrooms, 9 beds) which gave us space and privacy. We had a great Irish breakfast and returned renewed and refreshed to...
