Probably the best irish breakfast in Ireland 😉 nice rooms, warm bed after a cold windy and rainy walk on the burrenway ...and lovely margaret! Who has always time for a chat. What else do you want?! I will sure come back again 😀 greetings from germany!
The place is tidy, clean and has a rustic soul. Margaret is a lovely hostess- very friendly, always happy to help with advice or some local history. Tasty Irish breakfast 😊 Conformable beds- slept like a bear 🐻 I loved the hot shower too 😁 Location is brilliant, as it’s just few minutes drive from Cliffs. Thanks a million Marta & Teresa
Wonderfully place. Well priced. Clean, tidy, wonderful atmosphere. The owner is a lovely lady and a joy to talk to in the morning during the breakfast that she makes herself. Would rate 6 out of 5 if I could. Me and my girlfriend were going to stay for only one day, however, stayed an extra day after the top experience. Worth a stay for sure. We will go there again next time we visit Doolin.
Immediately on arrival, we were met with tea and scones. Margaret was very kind and knew exactly what to tell us about Doolin and its surroundings in order to pique our interests -- in our case, this meant the possibility to go on a hike with a storyteller, a bicycle renting service for a trip along the coast and into the Burren, the best places to grab a bite to eat, where to buy nice jumpers, where to get replacement shoes because I accidentally packed my father's identical model a size and a half smaller than mine... She really went the extra mile to be helpful and welcoming, and made our stay all the lovelier. Our room was spacious, clean and we wanted for nothing our entire stay. Breakfast was always fresh and really tasty. We'll be back for sure, and heartily recommend Emohruo!…
Myself and 3 others thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Margaret in Emohruo ‘Our Home’ this bank holiday weekend. The rooms were very cosy and spacious, and the view from our window was beautiful. The B and B is situated just 3-4 minutes (driving distance) outside of the main street of Doolin. Margaret was very accommodating organising her local taxi man John (who was also very nice and arrived on the time for each booking both ways). There is a lovely little restaurant right across the road (walking distance) from the B and B- Stonecutters Kitchen, would recommend the steak and onion rings! Our breakfast was served every morning along with a short chat from Margaret with information on helpful things to make us enjoy our stay even more. Over all very happy and we will be sure to be back to the beautiful County Clare! Thanks so much Margaret it was a pleasure to stay in your home.…
Margeret welcomed us with open arms and made us feel at ease as soon as we arrived at her home. The rooms are exactly like the pictures (if not better). Spotless rooms with even cleaner en-suites. The house was always kept warm and if we needed anything, we could ask. Breakfast was as relaxing as sitting in your own home. Huge selection from pancakes to a full Irish fry. It was located about a 3 minute drive from Doolin village and a 5 minute drive from the Cliffs of Moher. Taxis available at night time into the village or further afar - Margaret has the details for that as well. I will definitely be back!
We were so happy to return to Emohruo with our son, daughter-in-law, and grandson in tow. Margaret made it as delightful as ever. The rooms are clean, spacious, and warm with everything you need including en suite bathrooms. The breakfast is one of the best! It's convenient to everything Doolin and Clare. And Margaret is a wealth of information about the area, having lived there all her life. We count Emohruo a regular stop for us now and are very grateful for her hospitality.
We stayed at this lovely B&B in Doulin after seeing the Cliffs of Moher. The rooms were clean and beautifully kept. Each room had a modern bath. Margaret made the best breakfasts and was a wonderful wealth of knowledge. We had a wonderful time at Emohruo. I would definitely recommend this B&B. It was beautiful and Doolin was awesome. The people were wonderful and fun.
The host, Margaret, was extremely warm and welcoming. Margaret also has great insight into the history of the area, which we appreciated and honored very much. The Emohruo B and B was exceptional and would highly recommend. It is in a excellent area to explore western Ireland and the host makes it a world class experience!! Margaret makes the best scones...and the other food served was top quality.
Margaret Carey has a special place in our hearts and she was the first B&B we stayed at and all others compared to her. She won! After a windy day at the Cliffs, she opened her lovely Doolin countryside home to use and had a hot "cuppa" in our hands within minutes. Super cozy room, easy access to the tiny village of Doolin and BEST advice to visit the O'Connor Pub found us front & center to the Irish Jam Session of your dreams. Thanks Miss Margaret!
