Stayed at Blacberry lodge for three nights. An exceptional place to stay in Doolin. Exceptionally clean, friendly owner and beautiful Irish countryside to view from our room. Parking great, access to sights and food perfect. Would recommend anyone to stay at this accommodation.
Very welcoming hosts! Gorgeous views from the second floor and great location just outside of town to get away from the crowds and tour groups and explore Doolin and the Burren area. Stayed 2 nights, spotless rooms, tea and snacks in rooms, comfy beds, spacious rooms with a view, nice hot and powerful shower. Nice chairs in room to sit & read or relax. We hope to return again!
We stayed for one night. The room was bright and very clean and there was a great power shower. Breaktfast might be available but our booking for eur90 for two people through booking.com did not include it. Minimal interaction with anyone at the B&B, keys are laid out and we prepaid, but that is fine. It's located outside the village but in easy walking distance of pubs including McGann's where there was a great trad session the night we were there and nice pub food. It's down a side road so a little dark if you were walking on your own at night. The Cheesepress down the road is a good spot for a toasty or a snack and good coffee.
Lovely stay. Highly recommend. Spotless rooms, tastefully decorated, very comfy beds, lovely bathroom and great shower! Located in quiet area but near great eating places. Lovely cooked breakfast and plenty of healthy choices. Owners very accommodating. Definitely stay again. Thank you!
We stayed here for two nights and it's an excellent location for exploring the Doolin/Burren area. The rooms are great and very comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty and you were welcome to help yourself to tea and coffee any time during the day. The owner was very nice to deal with and happy to throw on some breakfasts at short notice. It's only a minutes drive to the various restaurants and to the pier. For the Covid times that we live in; the owner wore a mask at all times, and there are hand sanitisers throughout the property. A great stay
The room was clean, modern and comfortable, with all necessary amenities. The breakfast was very nice with both continental and cooked breakfast options. The house was located close to the best restaurants and bars, which I would recommend pre-booking. Overall, great value for money and I will stay again in the future.
Two lovely rooms for a one night stay...walking distance to McGanns pub where a lovely meal was had. Gorgeous view and amused ourselves watching the hares in the garden over breakfast. Tasty breakfast and would especially recommend the scrambled eggs... we’ll be back .
Very friendly family run business. Lovely rooms and amazing views. Delicious breakfast especially pancakes. access to tea and coffee 24 hours per day Printed boarding pass for me as well. What a treat.
Great location, extremely welcoming and friendly host. Room was cozy and warm with a lovely view of both Country and Sea Side. Breakfast was a 10/10. All in all, great stay, would recommend and revisit.
Quick check in. Parking. Convenient to pubs, just a few minutes walk. B&B has flashlights to borrow for your return walk in the evening. Spacious room. Help yourself to coffee, tea and hot chocolate, biscuits, fruit. Breakfast was good with some made to order options. Pearse was friendly and gave good tips for a rainy day when cliff walk was not advisable. Stayed two nights. Great value. Perhaps 10-15 mintues drive to Moher visitor centre? Possibly less. Maybe 5 minutes to pier where boats to islands leave from. Would definitely stay again!
